they must have uploaded the wrong episode for number 2, because there were 2ep released last week and 1 today. I use doramasia but the subtitles are in Spanish so I don't know if that works for you

I've only watched the first two episodes and I do like it but I feel very confused about what's going on haha .. so the FL has broken up with her bf? and she likes a married guy? but he's just stringing her along? this is what I understood from comments about ep2 on YouTube, please let me know if I understand correctly thank you!

i think this is technically considered a Korean drama, but it feels like they are mixing some of the styles from both countries and I really like it!

this would be my explanation but I don't closely monitor ratings, so its based on what seems logical to me. those dramas have been out for a few years so have had more time to settle into a rating. I think lovely runner had a huge spike when it finished because of the fan base around it (including me who rated it 10) and the base was very strong because news quickly released about people in the industry not believing in the project, making this show feel like an underdog. also, the number of viewers for LR is half of what these shows have, making it easier for the average to be skewed higher or lower, and then it wasn't as easily accessible until August (I think?) when it went on Netflix so the rating stayed high. my thought is it will keep dropping now, but maybe not? twinkling watermelon has stayed at 9.2, though I don't think that one had a wide reach either compared to the ones you mentioned

maybe you can try when youre in a drama slump? or just watch scene compilations? I also want to rewatch at some point cause I really enjoyed it! but also I agree that not every drama is good the second time. like the kings affection was really good, but i don't think I'd enjoy a rewatch

today I realized that I've become a LOT more picky since this show ended, I just loved it so much!! for me, it's easily the best of the years and it'll be really hard for anything else to top it (but I have hopes in Family by Choice at least being close 🤞)

not super different though, he was mad at the author cause his mom was reading it, and now he's mad at his brother cause he exists as evidence that his mom was cheated on. what really made me upset though is that he demoted the FL out of anger and never recognized that it was wrong and unprofessional to do so, and even congratulates someone else for all the work SHE put into her own idea, meanwhile she gets no credit and no apology. then the writers have her quit, start her own business and then go back to beg for an investment and be called a traitor? I don't understand why that happened, she didn't deserve all that

the second sister being in an open relationship wasn't talked about enough, the second male lead never really learning his lesson kinda pissed me off (he hated on the author, says hes sorry , then hates on his brother for existing along with his wife for being married to him) I dont get why they played the plot out like that cause even the cheating ex who stole her idea won in that situation, but honestly the last episode really disappointed me when I loved all the episodes before it

I don't think it's bc you are single haha I am also single and I love the show! I think sometimes it's just a matter of what clicks with you and what doesn't. I couldn't get through one episode of love next door but it is very popular, I recently dropped Cinderella at 2am bc I couldn't focus on the show. but for some reason this rom com I was able to laugh and root for the main couple!, and I'm not a huge fan of Noona romances either but it's not a no-no for me, in this one especially Im constantly ignoring how BIG the age gap is haha

same, I can't tell if the flashbacks are supposed to make us conflicted, but it actually makes me hope the original couple don't get back together.. I am committed to supporting ju yeon

I liked the working title: Not Powerful But Attractive Violent Crime Unit! kinda disappointed they changed it to Seoul Busters, it's good too but I prefer the other one, it gives more comedy vibes

haha I thought no comments was weird too, but I did watch it! personally, I liked it a lot more than S1 but I haven't watched the original Korean version yet (I started but then couldn't continue and haven't gone back yet)
