something I've been wondering: did they give the hint to hyungyu already? I don't remember it happening but I remember some of the other players saying that he had it and that's part of why he needed to be gone (hoping he makes it to the end anyway!)

I agree with everything, even the top 3 for the win. the only thing is I don't want hyunjoon to win, when he first did the prison side quest I was impressed but he keeps going back and forth with hyungyu using him when he can and targeting him at any chance. if he picked one side I'd be able to respect it or if it was the only way to save himself sure, but he's only making the alliance to hurt him and now they're trying to use sohui too. even kuhyun was upfront about not continuing in the alliance for the mandala game and they made the joke about him always betraying jiyoung

I also started for eun bin, and really liked the first couple episodes but then got bored (like you said, its pretty senseless). now I only have the two episodes left but i don't really like it :/ I'll finish though maybe this new cliffhanger will deliver

was it worth finishing or better to just drop?

I started this as soon as it came out and I'm STILL on ep6 struggling to finish and this review depicts exactly why, thank you

for me it was the last 10 but honestly even then it wasn't terrible, I think they were going for a goofy ending

my mind might change after the final episode but the pacing and plot were done well, it doesn't feel rushed at all and it's really funny !! hopefully ep12 can give it a good ending that doesn't make me suddenly hate the entire show

ep7 was my absolute favorite so far! the drama is slow to get better but because its constantly building up. maybe they shouldve made the episodes shorter or taken out a couple? cause the storyline is great but so many will drop cause of how slow it starts

could be love next door, doctor slump, when the phone rings, no gain no love, etc. all those got hype too

ep1 didn't start off great but got better, and ep2 pulled me in! loving the heavy dose of comedy too!! at least this is gonna be an interesting and funny show <3

wasn't gonna comment but I'm enjoying this drama and I kinda feel like avoiding this page now cause all the negativity.
I don't like toxic people in dramas, but so far in this drama I haven't been bothered by anything. as others have mentioned, this is a historical drama, so we can't expect people to be completely modernized. but also, the tone of the drama is not a serious one, if the humor isn't for you then that's fine but plenty of things will use death for humor and that doesn't make people sociopaths. this isn't about normalizing any sort of behavior, and we should be able to discuss that a character did something wrong without completely trashing an entire drama especially when it's a *comedy*
if you don't like it I would really suggest dropping it, cause the show is rated age 14+ for "fear, sexual violence, suicide, violence" and it's a comedy

yeah, the thing that got me first was the font, and then the concept of a word pattern for a set of series is something I've seen in some Mexican novelas. usually they share some of the crew and they share production styles / vibes, may have crossover characters or settings, and actually tend to use some of the same actors (something I forgot haha). the best example is probably the "vencer.." series, I think it had five novelas? so I thought wow, Korean dramas are doing this too? but nope, at least not here

I almost thought When the Stars Gossip was related to this drama cause the names start the same (in English), the fonts look very similar (both in English and Korean titles) and it started on WTPRs final week. there doesn't seem to be a connection outside of Netflix though (I also didn't dig very deep)

I had watched him in the movie unlocked and the drama run on, and his characters werent convincing to me. I can see what you mean with PGY, but I saw it more as her character just being absolutely done with everything. I really liked the scene where she got attacked though, she looked terrified
