As is known, Naoko (the creator of the manga) died suddenly and this story never had an end. The only thing left was what she had told her husband.
For this reason, those who did a second part took different courses for the end (since they did not have one). But hands down, again, this is the best.
It is not just seeing Irie and Kotoko grow as a married couple or as individuals, but the great ending so beautiful that this adaptation have.
The ending where the two of them are walking together with their daughter, with that little conversation that seems to say nothing but harbors many feelings between them was, simply, beautiful and always cried when I see again. Not sadness, but happiness.
Really his first and second part were beautiful with a great performance.
I can only really recommend that you see it ♡ you will not regret it.
