The empress dowager did, when she rose to power, fl's grandfather and lishan academy opposed it so they closed their doors, shutting themselves in the mountain as an act of defiance. In response empress dowager sealed the mountain, placing guards and stuff outside, not letting anyone in or out unless with permission.

100 percent I feel sometime we're so used to the typical cdrama love that is like what you mentioned, I will die for you type of love, that when theres something different some people don't see it as live when it clearly is just a different type of love. Thats the question, how did she survive unsure but we'll which we'll find out, but theres bts photos of a bunch of people on the mountain including fl wearing likes masks over their face. But also they say plague but could be like a mass poisoning or like a plague spread by the empress or marquis, in historical china purposefully spreading plague through like water sources was sometimes used during war so maybe something similar and maybe thats why she sealed the mountain as well, so the plague or poison kills everyone on the mountain while its sealed so it doesn't spread. But obviously these just leaks not sure how credible as of right now.

Apparently there was a plague on the mountain, everybody died except fl not sure why but we'll found out, fl overcome by grief, had to bury all her loves ones, she couldn't take the grief of it all and thus suffered ptsd or a mental break of some kind and completely blocked out that it happened and thus created the hallucinations of Qing shuang, master Zhu and that everyone on the mountain is healthy and happy and all that. Again these just apparent leaks idk if true or not we'll have to see.

100 percent we can see her senior brother is definitely suspicious now, I think he went up to lishan mountain to see what's going on, I fear the secrets are about to come out
