Because in the end the frustration does not outweigh the joy of watching something as it airs. No spoilers (which are really common on popular shows after it airs), being able to interact with other real time watchers in comments like MDL, share opinions, share theories etc. And sometimes on a really hyped up show like this, you just can't wait till it finishes, its too tempting too watch it instead of waiting. The fun of watching tv shows as it airs is the anticipation of what comes next, while painful, it's also exciting. But thats just my opinion you might have a different one. While one episode days are painful, the anticipation of what comes next is exciting, and thats what tv shows are all about in my opinion. But we can always agree to disagree.

I bet like, all the characters think he wants to arrest ML and like hate him, I bet when they reunite he's gonna be like crying and hugging him instead 😂

Damn these one episode days are killer, and we got another one episode day tomorrow as well. One episode days are painful.

Some people here saying ML and FL have no chemistry, and thats fine, everyone has their own opinions and chemistry is subjective, but today's ep 10, I think their chemistry was really good. FL's little jealousy about ML and Huo daughter was pretty cute. I think they do have chemistry and it will only continue to build now they have trust again. Plus, I think the scenes of the working together also help build their chemistry in my opinion.

Have you seen the preview for tomorrow's episodes? Looks like you could get your wish. I'm hoping it's not a fake out and it happens.

I watched coroner's diary and they're not really similar despite being investigative and seeking to find the truth about their parents death. Coroner's diary was more fast paced in my opinion (covering cases in like 3-4 episodes), and had way more romance (at least so far might have more). Also a major difference everyone is pointing out is the FL, completely different between the 2. Not saying one is better than the other though, they are just two different types of characters. They do share some similar elements though, CD had like 7 cases, from the trailer it seems this show will have a few different cases all tied together. Also similar they are both investigating one big mystery related to their parent's death. So there are similarities, but the vibe of both are different (hard to explain) and the FL is especially different. I really enjoyed CD though and so far enjoying this.

Zhao Liying is a great actress, but she plays mature, older characters now, as she should, she plays them so so well, but would not make sense for her to play a teenager/early twenties daughter character anymore.

Oh I like the little white dragon theory, would be smart if the poison was not really an accident, I could so see that happening, especially how he seems so innocent and nice but could all be an act. Not gonna lie I'm also a little sus of the leader of the elite constables, that guy in the red robe that is the boss of FL, he just seems weird to me, might be over thinking though. I definitely think there's a mole or spy among the good guys. I hope we find out more about Tong Shong, cause right now we really know nothing about him, like why he's loyal to ML.

Yeh exactly, it's no coroner's diary, that was just such a good drama, but the whole mystery behind haiya village and yesha is interesting. I feel like the emperor's somehow involved also and I feel like so many people could be involved and could be survivors of haiya village, we just don't know yet. Plus from the trailer there will be a few major cases like coroner's diary, but they're all connected to the overall case. Could be good.

Yeh tbh I never thought he could be a survivor but since you brought it up, it would make sense too. He just looked super sus on the boat but can't tell if he's a survivor or someone involved in the massacre. But yeh that boat, either he was over ridden with guilt and decided to kill them all or he was out for revenge and killed them all. Either way, looking forward to finding out.

I think the FL's fathers wasn't a survivor of the massacre, but one of the soldiers involved in the massacre. At least thats what I thought? Because in ep 7 when the killer is explaining haiya village, he says it was humans who massacred the village, but they used a vengeful ghost yesha as an excuse. Now the survivors are using the same name Yesha to get revenge. Because the people that massacred the village said yesha was a vengeful ghost, and used that as an excuse to why the village was massacred. So know the survivors are like vengeful ghosts for real. Thats what I thought at least, so FL's father was a solider or some who was involved in the massacre of haiya, thats what I'm thinking. I saw other people comment this and I think it could be possible, since ML is an orphan possibly FL's father rescued him during the massacre of haiya village, I think FL's after was a soldier or involved in the massacre of the village and maybe saved the kid as he didn't have the heart to kill him. Then that would tie in with your theory, where he finds out he's arresting all the survivors who are just like him,

I don't think they ever got fully married and I don't think she thought he was dead because its mentioned FL continually investigated leads on the ML while he was missing. Not sure if they technically got married but it seems everyone was searching for him and he was still 'wanted' so they knew he was still alive just hiding. Zhuge even mentioned to FL they could work together to find ML, so I don't think they thought he died.

Yeh I saw that, dunno what that review even is about. So silly, idk if it was a mistake or not, but thats why reviews shouldn't be allowed till at least half the drama airs. Exactly why iqiyi, Youku and douban are doing the same thing, no reviews till 50% of the drama has aired.
