I don't know what's going on this year, but this is the second promising series that is ruined for me and it's too bad because it was a good and different series... until this episode.
Writers, plz decide what story you want to tell. You can't show continuously for 10 freaking episodes how mismatched the Bamhee and Tae couple is and then try to sell it to the audience as true love... in the cringiest way possible, btw. That reunion scene was so bad, I felt embarrassed to watch it. And no, I didn't like Bamhee with Judy either. It would've ended perfectly with all three of them happily single. Of course, I don't know for sure how most people who have been watching this feel, but I still would bet that the Bamhee/Tae couple hasn't got many fans, because the show wrote them that way.
This non-development between Ryan and Jane is getting ridiculous. I'm all for slow burn, but come on, Ryan confessed like three episodes ago, something has to happen.
Last but not least, the credits are wrong, Bamhee and Tae need to be credited as mains, their roles are by no means only supporting ones.
I avoid and hate to leave a comment like this, but I feel extra frustrated, because until now, I loved the series and am very disappointed with today's episode. Why? This couldn've been so good. :(
I don't think this is bad or inferior than any other version, I don't understand the complain at all. Original…
I agree. I haven't watched the original Addicted, because I've heard that it was not finished (or they weren't allowed to release all episodes, and I don't wanna watch something that will never be finished), and Stay With Me is overrated (my opinion, although I know many will disagree). I couldn't finish it, because there were too many things distracting me from the main story and knowing that the romance has been taken out didn't help my motivation to finish it. If I watch BL, I need it to be BL and not just imagine it, because it's somehow implied. This adaptation has some problems and it's not perfect by any means, but it's not as bad as many are trying to make it. The actors are doing a good job and the story flows, despite some weird cuts.
helppp comments about this series being slow and boring is getting on my nerves, you probably wanna skip to the…
I'm annoyed by the slow and boring comments too, but there are several good Thai BL shows, with or without NC scenes, so there's no need to insult Thai BLs in general. ;)
heard it's a netflix show so will they post it on youtube?
Depends on your coutry. I just saw that it will be on GagaOOLala for the USA, UK, Germany and Australia. This means that probably it will be on YouTube for the countries not covered by either Netflix or GagaOOLala.
You DO know nothing will change by writing you’ve dropped the drama , you think it’s boring or you think it’s…
I also don't get the complains about it being slow and thus "boring". It's a slow-burn romance with two very young characters (one feeling abandoned and isolated and the other an introvert) cautiously approaching each other and getting to know each other first. What exactly is supposed to be wrong with that? There's also the special circumstances with their parents. Even if it's implied there was an immediate attraction between them, it's totally realistic that they wouldn't start dating after meeting a couple of times. I like that they are taking their time to get to know each other first. The attraction is still there for everyone to see, it's not like it's hidden.
I'm convinced that Qi Jia Hao is the person behind what happened at the end of the episode. He's jealous that Wang is better than him, despite being a new student, and especially at the subject Qi Jia Hao used to be the best in the class before Wang's arrival (English). It's not a coincidence Wang got removed exactly when the English exam was going to happen.
I'm also convinced this is going to come out, but it was still not nice of them to end the episode like that and make us wait 6 days to see what is going to happen. :(
This is my favourite BL series currently airing and if the quality stays the same, I see it in my top 3 for this year. And how lucky are we to get 2 episodes a week, and long ones, too. We win. :)
Garfield said in an interview that it was his first nc scene and he was nervous and shy. He is a quiet person…
Garfield was supposed to play the main role in the cancelled series "Heart by Heart", the trailer is still on YouTube. He has shot kissing scenes before and there is something like a love scene in the trailer, although it's not as detailed.
The only issue I have now that it's finished is, I can't believe that Wan never stopped calling Oab "chef". Like,…
In Unintentional Love Story, Wonyoung called his love interest "Sir" from the beginning to the very end, even after they started dating. I'll never get the meaning of these honorifics in Asian languages and why people won't drop them after their relationship status changes.
I'm posting my thoughts after watching the last episode for the second time. I would encourage everyone who watched it yesterday with the messed up subs to try again. The subs have been fixed now and many things that didn't make sense yesterday are clear now, making the episode way smoother to watch. I thought the last episode was sort of messy yesterday, but I've changed my mind.
It was clear, but this episode made me really realise how much Oab is in love with Plawan. He has known about Methas since they first slept together, but risked it anyway, hoping Plawan would choose him at the end - which he did, but not like it should've happened. And the scene with the croquettes, OMG, it was so obvious poor Oab was just hoping to hear "I'm sorry" in order to take Plawan back, but Wan, not being very bright, didn't get it. I think this scene and the confession scene were my favourite in this episode.
JJ is not interested in money, but didn't seem to mind wearing that flashy ring around and showing it off. :D
I loved the series, Sailub and Pon delivered with the feelings and with the chemistry. I liked Benz and Garfield, too, although not as much, their love scene felt weird, or maybe it was the shooting angle. But I'm glad they gave us two couples who both started as enemies, but got a totally different relationship development.
P.S. Give me another series with Aon and pair him off with whoever, I'll watch.
I was surprised that at the end Bahmee went to break up with Tae, I thought she would try to save the relationship, but ultimately, it's the right decision. They are just not a good match and this was clear from the beginning. Neither of them is guilty; their personalities and what they expect in a relationship are just too different. Tae needs someone less overbearing and Bahmee needs someone who pays more attention to her.

Very, very good series, and it's even better we're getting two episodes a week. Hopefully this trend will keep up.
