I think you shu lang beat fan xiao only when he finds out that fan xiao gave him the drugs and harassed him. Maybe…
Spoiler: yes, You Shulang will beat Fan Xiao because he'll find out that he's been the one to sexually assault him while he was unconscious and then played the concerned friend the next day. For the betrayal and the lies, it was enough to throw Fan Xiao out and break up with him, but the assault is a different thing entirely and he will not let it slide without making Fan Xiao pay.
They are following the book very closely. Shulang and Lu Zhen will meet one last time and then Lu Zhen will disappear completely, unless they've changed something, but I don't think so.
It's no wonder years of therapy haven't helped cure Fan Xiao's trauma, because his misery and contempt for the rest of the world are so great that he would even deliberately sabotage and hurt himself in order to show how nasty he is and boast about it to his horrible friends and hurt the honest, caring, generous person he loves in the processs. He's been miserable and unloved his whole life so the pain he feels himself and the fact that he's a pervert no one loves doesn't matter, he's used to it. Falling in love is bound to change that, but he has to discover for himself what it means for the person he loves to want to have nothing to do with him and to despise him like the rest of the world.
The truth is, Fan Xiao doesn't know how to love, because no one has loved him except for his mother who's been dead for a long time, and he needs to learn what this means, and the process is long and painful. Unfortunately, it will be long and painful for poor You Shulang, too, because no normal person would ever want to be loved by someone like Fan Xiao.
Couldn't finish this even though it's genuinely sooo good! Why can't I watch Lakorn-style series? I get mad anxiety…
Same. I can't finish it even though it's good and I can see that it is. I think it's the many horrible characters who are honestly so horrible that I can't watch them. The fact that one of them here is the father of one of the mains makes it even harder.
I'm watching on Gaga with VPN set in Malaysia and it works. To my knowlege, any country in Southeast Asia should work. The rest of the world is excluded.
Well, it's starting. Layer by layer, Fan Xiao's mask is peeling down. This doesn't mean he will become a better person, but at least Shulang won't be in the dark anymore.
Fan Xiao thinks to himself he has to tell the truth but keeps lying. Oh boy.
Watching this episode, I realised something I never did while reading the book - if there had been any way to do it, Fan Xiao would've kept everything he did to Shulang a secret forever in order to keep him as a lover.
The second couple sort of made an appearance after all. :D
The mystery/psychological/supernatural/horror genre seems to be my favourite, because I've been loving all shows they've given us so far - Khemjira, Mystique in the Mirror, Goodess Bless You From Death and now this one. Hopefully they'll keep them coming next year, too.
The production, the visuals and the vibe of this are so great, and I'm very happy they finally gave Force and Book adult roles. This was one of my most anticipated GMMTV shows from this year and I can't wait to see what will happen.
Objectively, ABO was not very good. Revenged Love was good, however, it had a completely different vibe and I…
I thought I was the only one!
I adored RL until they reconsiled after Wu Suowei's mother's death. After that, only the second couple was worth watching IMO. The entire arc with Wu Suowei getting kidnapped by Chi Cheng's father, the prison, etc. was lost on me.
Too bad they ruined that sexy time with smoking. I couldn't even watch it 🤷🏼♀️
It's canon, they are both heavy smokers and the cigarettes are also used a as symbol about how much they are mutually addicted to each other. There was no omitting that.
No. The second couple has been cut, for very good reasons.
He gets better as the story progresses. ;) I mean, the drugging was planned together with Fan Xiao and Shi Lihua, and Xue Baotian will be the one to drop the ball to Shulang about not being the only one involved in it. He's not worse than Fan Xiao or Shi Lihua.
And a "partner", at least in this book, is very far-fetched. I was not joking about the multiple rape.

They are irrelevant for the plot, too, and very randomly thrown in there. It's Xue Baotian (the one who participated in Shulang's drugging the first time and made him drink all the glasses for that girl) and a young guy called Zhang Chi. I tihink they have their own novel.

Hao Yi Ran outdid himself in this episode. <3
It's so honestly funny and Khun Thee and Peach are such an unique couple.
