Haha! It is super cute! He blushes when he talks about her and can't really look into her eyes for long. He did do a shoutout to Youku hinting at a collab with her, but I think he wants like a wuxia/fight drama with her. Youku's a pretty bad production so I'd rather some other network pick up this pairing.
You can tell how much thought is put into each episode because they're titled, not just ep 1 and ep 2 etc. The writer is clear on what message they want to write for each ep.

Honestly, I think she might be angry and sad, but wouldn't betray Ping'an. She probably shot PA where it wouldn't be fatal or sent a secret message for YSC to save PA. She probably did this to get close to Hai Ping, but I really hope nothing happens to her after Cailian. But, I could be wrong since this drama likes to drop plot twists.

Oh, I definitely see something there although not heavily applied or pursued like the norm, but this back and forth thingy between them is not usual to me. I don't see friends throwing underline meaning at eachother like they do - It's almost like intimate talk and flirt but subtle. Currently, at this point, he's more moved and invested than she is although I think he doesn't know that.
