I was searching this drama up and looks like it is based on a mini novel with about 31 chapters. I MTLed the novel and boy is it explicit 😂 especially in one of the chapters, but for sure the drama is not going to play that particular scene.

OMGad, I had to drop this and rant! I could not stand any characters at all in this drama! FL kept taking 2 steps back when her enemies and the annoying AF mother in law kept belittling her...like come on girl get your act together. ML could not stand up to his mom at all even though he is supposedly the man of the house but in truth a huge grown ass man who still takes order from mommy. The mom of the ML made my blood boil because she stirs up my negative emotions the most; You old lady! You supposed to be wise, patient, and smart and not another annoying old fart. And, I hate how much screen time the evil chick gets because I don't want to see from her POV on how obsess she is with the ML. Sorry for ranting, but sheesh this writer needs to write better characters who I can empathize with and support!

😂 Yes, Yuan Lu has a heart disease so I expected it. NYZ's internal force is weak but remember he's also strong because of his brain, schemes, and strategies so he could have survived. Sighs, they should have went with Ruyi's plan in the first place, maybe she'll be hurt but not dead.

I already knew that the Beipan part of the story would be revealed too, but did not think that it was that strong of an arc to cover the later half of the story since we already have two main power house of An and Wu that didn't get to be elaborated more. They could have easily wrapped up the Beipan arc and go back to the power struggle of An and Wu.

Also, I understood the deaths of all the characters, but that doesn't mean that I as a viewer have to agree with it and not see why it felt forced.

Really? I expected Qian Zhou, Sun Lang, and maybe Yuan Lu, but not the other 3. Shisan and the leads were too good and smart to die.

I think 4 out of the 6 didn't need to die honestly LOL

I don't mind LOL. The Beipan and all the deaths afterwards felt forced too. I don't mind having some of them die, but to have all of them die was too much.

Not so much on bromance because to me I see bromance as two to three friends/bros' relationship all over other characters. However, here they are more like a team or family.
