LSS fits Ruyi like 100%. I don't think anyone else would have played Ruyi to perfection like LSS from showing intensity, anger, sadness emotion range to her clean sword and dancing technique. She made Ruyi hers. If you want to see her cute and vulnerable then the only time her guard really drop is on ep 23 and ep 24. She was a bit softer there because her character called for it.

I think she might have made a deal with deng hui, but her almost dying still gives a tug at my heart string because she could have died right then and there.

Ep 31 and 32 were soooo good! I was on the edge of my seat for Ruyi and NYZ kicking arse. I was even shouting for the scarlet guards to be like, "GOOOO, be freee!!!". I really like the actor for commander Deng hui, he has like this presence about him. And, looks like we're heading towards the sad arc now, all the sad songs be popping up now even for the previews.

I'm still in the middle of ep 28, but I think I'm in the minority where I don't like YSS with Chu Yue. He's flirting with her, but it feels lacking in comparison to when he flirts with Ruyi and yes, I know he's only doing it because of NYZ, but there's at least sparks between them even though he was just joking around with Ruyi.
