I'm an Asian and marriage between blood related/ adopted cousins(with the same surname) is legal in middle east.. I know their kid might be not healthy because of being blood related but they do this anyway( 50% of this kinds of marriage are related to wealth and they want to keep the wealth in the family rest of that is because they think this way their child will be happy and won't get divorce easily)..although I personally don't like it at all and I saw disabled child because of blood related marriage in the neighborhood (he's now 30 but he can't even use restroom by himself 💔💔💔😑).
