Capt. Ronnajak Jutathep, eldest son of M.R. Ronnaphee, is entrusted with his deceased friend’s younger sister, Sunida. When he enrols Sunida at his alma mater, he runs into a former classmate, Jaipisut, who is now a teacher. Jaipisut barely tolerates Ronnajak, as she has no good childhood memories of him because of his teasing; but the two are forced to play nice together when Sunida has problems at school. Building a friendship with your arch-nemesis is never easy. Theirs is far more complicated when Jaipisut finds out she is adopted, and from the heirloom brooch left by her birth mother, she might be a Dhevaprom. Will Jaipisut’s connection to the Dhevaprom prove too much for Ronnajak to overcome, or will the two realise that what they have is worth fighting for? Still a fun watch despite the minuses
Here's my highlights:-draggy, the middle part is boring, thank God i tried to keep watching
-at least they shouldn't have released Dujupsorn trailer if they want NP's mom's issue to be intriguing til the end
-i didn't care about the crime scenes at first, but later didn't skip even a scene bcoz it's all connected to the main issues, which is good
-main lead's chemistry & story isn't that engaging at first, but way better in second half part, especially with the soft backsound in their private moments, strengthen the intimacy
-I like Jack-Annie's slow burn romance, not based on instant affection/love at 1st sight
-the school scenes is really fun
-with flaws here & there, overall it's a fun watch, nothing made me stressful, irritated.
-waiting for Tate-Oom's next drama!

started strong, faltered in the middle, finished decently
The series started off strong but lost its momentum along the way. That said, I still enjoyed it enough to finish it.The leads had a cute chemistry, although some scenes felt awkward. I wouldn't say it's due to their acting; their expressions were sometimes off, but it wasn't a major issue for me. Overall, the acting was decent and likely constrained by the script. I can understand why some viewers prefer the second leads, as their story and conflicts were indeed more engaging.
I was hoping to see more of the kids in the finale since they were the ones who made the beginning fun and interesting. I think the show lost its appeal for me when it shifted focus from that arc to finding NP's mom. I don't know but I just couldn't get attached to the mother-daughter story. Plus, the reveal of NP's mom's identity was so anticlimactic, considering how long they dragged out that plotline lol. Also for some reason, NP didn't seem as eager to find her mom as Laorchan was to clear her family's name or Kwanreutai was to gain her mother's favor in the previous installments. Yes, she was determined to get her brooch back and all, but the execution of that arc just felt flat. It's unfortunate that the writing for the female lead here was underdeveloped because I believe the Devaphrom girls are the backbone of these series.
I love dramas where the male lead is head over heels for the female lead tho, so that was the saving grace of this show for me. After watching a considerable amount of lakorns, it's rare for me to find a male lead who isn't problematic or a spineless pushover. Jak was consistently in love with NP from start to finish. He set boundaries with the SFL before courting NP and was respectful when he rejected Annie. Not once did he waver in his love for NP. While I sometimes find romance cringey when overdone, this show handled it just right. And the ending scene! The leads' scenes were admittedly boring at times, but they were adorable in that last scene.
This is my least favorite of the three so far due to the underdeveloped writing and mediocre production. However, I gotta admit that Jak and NP are my favorite couple out of the three despite the despites lol.
Overall, it was a delightful watch and something I'd recommend despite its fair share of flaws.
