Bang Average

That’s it? The name is far more interesting than what the drama ended up being. Interesting plot but extremely sloppy execution.

The drama starts off exceptionally well, the ending of the first episode got me hooked. But it free falls from there, plot points repeat themselves and it feels like you’re watching the same episodes on repeat. It’s safe to say that the show could have been decreased to 10-12 episodes aside from 16 to reduce the suffering. The show would have ended way sooner if these characters would just talk. There were also so many things that the drama didn’t end up explaining and the excuse of it being open-ended doesn’t cut it for me. What was the motive behind everything that happened?

It's OK

I only watched this show because it's short and several people recommended the show as the main couple are mature and incredibly cute. I love the co-habitation line. The story progressed well, but I found myself forcing myself to finish the show. It gets so boring once the main couple get together, the progression is cute though. As for the overall plot, it doesn't exist. Also no character progression, the leads were still pretty immature.
The show is meant to also be comedic, but I couldn't even let out a smile.

Very Bland

The drama is very plain with zero character development and honestly a non-existent plot. The show just feels dead, it doesn't help that they remove all the background noise so it just feels like voice-overs. While I was watching the first couple of episodes, I compared their lip-movement to the audio because I was so convinced they were just lip-syncing. They'll be sitting in the cafeteria you can see the people in the back talking butt there's zero background noise, like hello? Ever stepped foot to a cafeteria it's LOUD. The audio just makes watching the show feel very eerie.

The plot, does not exist. Don't get me wrong, I love my slice-of-life dramas where there is no villain or huge conflict, but this drama did not do the genre justice. I thought it was interesting that there was a game plot, but I got bored of it real quick. There were so many scenes which I was just like, what is the point? So many scenes which don't add to the plot, though it doesn't exist. If they cut out all of those unnecessary scenes, the drama would be 12 episodes shorter and it would've been a much better drama. The script is alright, could've been so much better if the actors would just do their job properly.

The cast: They're all extremely attractive but they don't really get the job done. The main couple have no chemistry at all. The point of being in a couple is to learn from each other and grow together but that didn't happen at all.

The Male lead was very hard to watch, his voice is so dull. Whether he was happy or sad, he sounded the same. If I was just listening to the audio, I won't be able to differ his emotions at all. He's very, how do I say this... dead. Also very terrible at advice, she FL had an argument with her friend and he's basically like, I'm you're world and you're not allowed to cry for anyone but me. Is that meant to be romantic? That's creepy. At least he's a great kisser, too bad it always looked like he was kissing a wall due to the fact that the FL was always frozen. You'd think she'd get used to it by the 30th episode but nope.

The female lead, I really liked her at first. She's amazing at playing games and is an incredibly smart student. Yet once she joins the company it's like all of it is thrown out the window. She's reduced to nothing in the job, I thought we moved on from the useless female lead trope. So much for girl power. I found her acting endearing at first, but she kept on recycling the same face or set reaction and it got boring of it real fast.,

I was very happy to see that there was a group of female friends who stuck together, but it wasn't good in this drama. They, like the main couple, have ZERO chemistry together, so I wasn't really convinced that they're really friends. Come on, even I can fake a friendship better than you. Usually, when you're in a friend group, you talk to each other about your problems and the friends comfort you and come up with solutions to help you, but that didn't happen which was really disappointing. Both the female and male friend group were meant to be the comedic relief, but the comedy was so childish and I couldn't even smile.

Obviously no rewatch value, I don't want to go through that again and I don't think anyone should either.

I wish I never watched it

The beginning of kdrama was interesting, touching on themes I've never seen discussed in k-dramas so I was pretty interested. However, it gets worse and seriously the logic of the characters made 0 sense. So much of the conflict would have been solved so easily with simple communication skills. The writing was poor, thus making the entire plot poorly created and then executed. So many characters on the show have not so great acting skill.
They even tried to make a full circle moment in the final episode, but truthfully I didn't care.

Hilarious & a Classic Cliche

The drama excels in its dialogue and delivery, the acting is superb and the show is hilarious. Several laugh out loud moments additionally several moments where I cried too. I felt for Joogyung and was extremely happy for you when she realised her self-worth and inner-beauty. Story is filled with a bunch of cliches but executed really well.
I would say the drama goes extremely well up until around episode 12, which is why I rated the rewatch value at a 6 because I'd watch it up until then. After ep 12 I no longer felt the hype and would watch the show several days after release. The storyline was a bit of a drag. The last two episodes were disappointing, I'm satisfied with the ending however the episodes were not needed, the pace was off. It felt like they were fitting so many things into the episodes.
OST was alright, it wasn't impactful, didn't add anything to the scenes but some of the songs were catchy.
