Yeah the scandal with his ex (Seo Yea-ji) was brought to life after Mr Queen. So then he disappeared for a while, came back with Kokdu which was a huge disaster, and now is trying to rebuild himself in second lead roles.

I really loved how In ah didn't let Ah jeong's vile comments about Ki jun get to her. In many kdramas one comment like this would give dramatic content for a whole episode. But In ah was confident in her relationship and didn't doubt Ki jun one bit.

I'm so so happy they didn't push a lackluster pairing in Team 3. They are just great as friends.

Ultimately I don't really think the drama lost its comedy or became dull after the first episodes. The comedy was always there and its quality was top notch, though it was interrupted by sadder parts. And I think people are too harsh on the drama element. Just a few years ago we got a thriller element in every single romcom. Before that, there was the childhood connection and family feud. Compared to that, here the drama is well written and in line with the theme. Even though the first 4 eps were truly spectacular, this is still a rare case of ending that delivered.

The way their relationship is written in eps 9-12... You don't really see this in many kdramas. They bicker, they fight, they make each other laugh. I thought they would make more of a passionate couple rather than cozy and loving one, but it really suits Kijun and Inah the best. This is such a gem of a kdrama.

This is such a fresh concept. I really hope this will be a huge hit.

Spooky for Love, but it starts in July. So there seems to be a gap in between. There's also See You at Work Tomorrow, but it will be a Mon-Tue drama

What a great comment. I don't like the tone shift too, I wish the writer focused more on comedy cause she clearly excels at it. But if it stayed chill people would complain about it being boring... while the quality of the drama did not drop, it just focused more on different things and characters as it went on. So yeah, I'm not a fan of the second leads. But I enjoy the main leads enough to still completely love the drama.

Undercover Miss Hong was very heartwarming and a nice watch overall. But it is an underwhalming year for kdramas.

It became more serious in the second half, and the second leads are universally hated. But the main leads' story is still worth it imo.

I completely agree. And I don't buy the explanation that she learned that being modest doesn't bring you any respect so she's outgoing now. I mean, you can just change your character on a whim even if you wanted to.

There's a preview of ep 9 where In-ah asks Ki-Jun to come over and he says "will you make me eat ramyon and leave again?". And she replies that no, not this time.

But I think that the scene from trailer will follow, of Jae-Yeol interrupting them. So no luck to our Ki-Jun lol

I mean after that kiss in ep 4, I would riot if they wouldn't be all over each other as a couple. And some people call out the ML for acting like a virgin anyway - do you have eyes?

But she doesn't hold a grudge against him for that. She knows that she could have fought for him more, but didn't due to her character. She is not resentful against him, but is not in love anymore either. And doesn't want to enter this relationship again when they clearly didn't work. So while she made a mistake, I wouldn't say she's toxic.

They fell at the same time, but he admitted it and pursued her first.

I hope so too! I mean, the first scenes of ep 8 were really fun already. And now they cleared up all misunderstandings about their feelings and the pharma case, and I feel they really have a clean slate now. I just wish that Jae-Yeol gave up already.

Some people mentioned that they don't like the fact that In-ah pushes Ki-Jun away but at the same time wants him to try again and again. And while I understand it, some people wouldn't like a partner like her, but this is what she needs at this point in time. And different people need different things from a relationship. Some people want their partner to assure them of their attractiveness, other want them to come to their basketball matches, other people get really emotional and just want the other person to hear their complains from time to time. If it's not at a toxic level, and if the other party is okay with it, there is nothing wrong with wanting a particular kind of support in a relationship. Of course, I hope that she will not push him away any more. But so far, Ki-Jun is a fighter, so they will make a good match.
