Anyone else kind of disappointed with IU's wardrobe? For some reason I was expecting something similar to Kim You…
Oh this is such an unpopular opinion, but I agree completely. I mean they wanted us to believe that she has a fashion company and her looks sell out every time. And I felt the way she dressed was a bit... meh? It was especially apparent in those episodes when she was supposed to wear traditional clothing to the palace but she just wore a suit... not very groundbreaking tbh. She was also overshadowed at the party, by the queen's midnight blue dress. And after the marriage the clothes she wore were really old-fashioned. Overall, the queen was the better dressed at each occasion.
I went back to ep 1, and the dialogue between Inah and Jaeyeol doesn't imply that she came back to Korea willingly. He says "do you regret coming back?" And she answers "if I do, can I return to US?". And then he laughs. So I think he was the one who brought her back. Why would she, if she has no family, friends, and wants to distance herself from her father?
I will repeat myself over and over: S2 was never a thing. It was a wish from ENA/the producers, who just saw how popular S1 was. The actors never agreed to take part in it. Great that the director finally adressed it publically.
About 2FL and 2ML, I really don't care about their relationship. Buy about 2FL and ML, other than the time she…
I agree, her behaviour toward 2ML isn't the greatest, but she is definitely not toxic towards the ML, and is not holding his relationship back. She wants to make 2ML jealous holding ML's arm but she clears the living-together misunderstanding at once when she sees that In-ah could see the ML in a bad light because of it.
Also I feel like the screenwriter's getting so much love, but I wanna praise the director, all romance scenes are shot so deliciously well, the kiss of course, but also the ocean scene~~
am i the only one worried about ml loosing his job... after all he was kinda rude with the vp. ( i know rude is…
I feel like at least one of the leads will lose their job or quit. I don't see In-ah being in a relationship with her subordinate in a long run. I feel she will uncover a massive case and will get fired as a result.
One thing I love the most about this show is how the leads make each other laugh. In-ah just straight up bursts out laughing multiple times an episode at Gi-Jun's stories. This is so important in a relationship, yes, physical and emotional connection is important, but finding someone who can make you laugh is just so special.
In my headcanon, In-ah didn't want to give Gi Jun the answer during the sashimi dinner just to hang around with him a little longer. Even after he specifically said that it'll be like a date!
I loved the soccer scene. No wonder the team leader cried - In-ah's unwavering support must have taken such a heavy burden from her shoulders. Our FL really feels like a character from flesh and bone. And no wonder she doesn't want to be loved out of pity. But I think you got it all wrong girl - he likes you cause are funny, compasionate and hella competent!
This show keeps exceeding my expectation, I wouldn't have thought that the "feeling dizzy" scene from ep 4 teaser was Ki Jun roleplaying a kiss scene for audit purposes hahaha. Our main leads make each other laugh so much with all their shenenigans, I haven't seen a kdrama couple matched this well in a long time. I love every episode more and more.
I need them to explain to me why Lord Inpyeong wants his grandkid to be king so much that he goes on a killing spree every other weekend. What does the king even do besides attending official events? If he just wants connections, isn't that enough that his daughter holds the title of a queen? I dunno, I don't see this much reckless assassination even in historical dramas.
