I have to admit, this drama doesn't have any moment when I would rather scroll on my phone. Even when the plot is not really moving forward, I am still so interested! I think if you accept the setting, the cliches, it really is delivering.

She is his only family left after the accident and he feels guilty for it, imo it makes sense for him not to cut the ties

Ikr? There are many cliches here, and the plot is simple overall, but I love how it makes sense and is consistent when you consider the whole character's journey.

A lot of people are addressing it tho. There doesn't have to be one big bad in this situation. It seems like pretty much everybody let her down and should be criticized.

God damn it people. Unless it's hateful, let others criticize. This is a comment section not a praise section. I too wish that this comment section is more positive towards the drama, but people have the right to speak up. There are a million reasons for people to not drop it and still criticize it. Let it be. It's not a personnal attack on you. You leaving more positive comments would make this comment section nicer than you hating on people who criticize.

Geez, someone recently wrote on feeds that whenever you write about show lacking intimacy scenes you get nasty comments telling you to watch porn, and this is exactly what happened here. Like wtf? The commenter had all the right to point out that it's ridiculous for 30-somethings to have no romantic experience their entire life, WHICH IS TRUE and happens in at least 50% of kdramas. While I don't really see it as a problem in this particular drama, I overall agree with not liking the trend of making dramas with 30somethings who actually act like teenagers! Let people criticize, and you should be aware that they are not the ones bringing toxicity to this comment section!

Just dropping by to remind everybody that this was never happening. After the end of S1, which was a huge success for ENA, the producers or the station executives themselves (I'm not sure) expressed that they would love S2 to happen. No lead was asked at that point about the possibility of returning. When PEB was interviewed by the media, she said that the producers didn't ask her about it. KTO of course joined military in the meantime. As of now, I haven't seen any official news that this is actually in works.

Is it really so difficult to be rich and famous but live a compassionate, honest, kind - normal life, without doing unnecessary harm to anyone? It's crazy to me that in South Korea, where you can get hate for the tiniest scandal - marrying somebody, partying, smoking a joint - some people feel powerful and brazen enough to date a 15 year old for many many years and nobody in the industry even bats an eye and it doesn't get out. It's just unbelievable. Is it so hard to date adults? Not that I was ever a fan of KSH, but after this and Neil Gaiman situation, I honestly will try to never believe in an famous person's public image. But with kactors it's just the more striking seeing how pure and innocent the leads are, especially in romcoms. That's why I will aleays try to advocate for more believable leads, who are not the purest of the pure at the age of 35 or some other bullshit. It just leaves all of us brainwashed.

I'm not into conspiracy theories, but my guess would be that MDL receives some compensation for D+ and Netflix dramas' promotion (as other platforms' dramas are pretty overlooked in comparison, in terms of article coverage). So the article won't be out until KSH is still involved in Knock Off production. I wish it was because MDL is waiting for the whole story to come out, but with some other scandals it wasn't really the case -,-

2. He attended her funeral, unlike KSH.
3. Even if he was the passenger, he was not responsible for what happened as he was not the driver. Of course he should not let a drunk person drive, but if I fuck up as a driver, it's my responsibility. So if they covered his involvement as a passenger, I get why - this would ruin his career for no good reason, considering knetz' wrath even over minor offences.

I don't know whether he's a good person or if I would like him if I ever met him personally. But this is the case with all actors and idols. Especially that fame and money has big influence on anyone. I really hope that any wrongdoings (true bad deeds not an unintended naked reflection in a toy or bullshit of that sort lol) will see the light of day, but I'm not sure. For now, let's not judge people without evidence and let's not cancel people for minor mistakes (not referring to DUI but being a passenger).
