From 2026 point of view, it's hard to find anything good about this drama other than perhaps nostalgia. Draggy and repeatable af, toxic male lead, no idea why the FL fell for him. 20eps was way too much, I can't even tell what happened to take this much time.
yeah and like Ms Song no doubt could arrange for him to go there legally.also, i'm just bewildered that FL didn't…
Same! Those guys are hella dangerous, I mean they are going around killing people, and they even attacked Albert when he was snooping around, a potential heir! What is stopping them from taking even worse steps with her 🤷♀️ she should be sending her parents to other continent at least...
I can forgive a lot of plotholes, but the money stacked in the dorm is sending me, like if only the bad guy came WHILE THEY WERE WORKING this could all be over 😭
What exactly is the ploy with the old currency? I'm thinking that the money is no good, but why does O Deok Gyu…
They made Director Oh believe that the old money is dirty, gathered by some corrupted politicians. If a person would go to exchange that amount of money to new bills in a bank, they would definitely be questioned on where they got so much money from. So it makes sense to Director Oh that they would look for a financial institution to exchange this money no questions asked, of course for a hefty fee.
Don't be fooled, this is raigebait. From Marry My Husband onwards, PMY's weight has always been brought up during her drama promotions. Don't get caught up in this discussion, it's pointless.
Episode 11 was really good, but there’s one thing I don’t understand — what exactly is the hanmin founder…
She honestly seems to play every side - acts loyal to the chairman, but also has an agreement with Nora's mom to make Nora the CEO. At the same time, she has her own ambitions and is jealous that she hasn't been chosen as the CEO yet.
This is not a romance drama, like the comment below said, they sold us on the wrong premise. I honestly don't…
This. I feel like people are relying so heavily on tags that they search for romance where there is none (re: Albert). Like why is no one shipping FL with the programmer from her team? Just because he isn't as handsome, cause in terms of skills and competence he's way above Albert -,- I think that the ML will do something good in the last ep, and then maybe disappear or get jail time (highly unlikely in reality lol but it's a drama) and then after a timeskip there will be hint of a reunion with the FL. I'm also hoping for no romance, no one deserves our FL at this point.
You know what - it sounds like a proper love triangle and I dig it. Like the FL will be actually attracted towards both men. And I kinda think that's refreshing? Don't get me wrong, love triangles are in every other drama, but in most it's clear from the start, that the main couple only has eyes for each other. The other lead is unnecesary. You can't really call it a love triangle when one party was never considered as a potential partner. And here it may actually be a triangle. I am looking forward to it.
I can actually understand why she would be upset. In the sports festival, she doesn't care about the sports itself…
Yeah I could understand her anger in ep 12, if she wasn't behaving like a brat this entire season, blaming an innocent guy for being better than her. But ending her story with such a conclusion is very unsatisfactory imo, she should have realised her wrongs.
I'm at the beginning of ep 12 - and I had to take a pause. Seriously, SJ is angry at HG? I thought that MAYBE this situation will finally make her realise how wrong she was to compete with him in this way, but no. Now she's angry that HG let her win, when that was the exact thing she wanted at the sports festivel when she asked HG to not let his uncle compete. She is irredeamable at this point.
Because of schedule (Super Bowl!), I FF thru quite a bit of Ep. 8 but did I understand that Ex-CEO's driver disappeared…
I understood it more like - he disappeared cause the car repair guy took care of him. But I was also at some point suspecting that ex CEO might have survived.
Totally agree and one reason I'm rather cool about the show is that she is flirting with him (and Mr. Lee) to…
Yeah, right, Albert is basically just a kid. I mean I dig noona dramas, but their main selling point has to be that the younger guy is competent, mature, or at least provides support towards the FL in some way. Otherwise the chamistry is not there. Albert is just naive and pretty useless till now tbh... and the FL treating him as a tool doesn't help to see them in a romantic manner either.
You must be blind if you don't see the chemistry and a career woman doesn't necessarily want a career man 😂.…
What do you think that a 35 yo career woman would see in Albert? Maybe her partner doesn't have to be heavily career oriented, but he at least has to work or to try, which he doesn't do, most of his actions is actively trying to avoid work. The only thing going for him is as you mentioned, looks and his grandpa's wealth (who is clearly a criminal). What about it would swoon the FL? And I'm not saying that she should end up with the ML, cause I don't see that he's right for her either, but at least he's competent...
