Why do I think that the captive woman who was held by the crazy guy is actually the lost Kazuha Odajima? That is why Yasuo Odajima still safe and sound till the end of the movie, I mean, he didn't get the terror from the white lady. And that house is somewhat sinister.

But the writer did modify the actual crime scenes and name of victims and culprits. The kidnapping, sexual assault and murder of a schoolgirl in the 2nd or 3rd (I forgot exactly) was referred to Junko's brutal case. Another case, such as Sarin Gas Attack. I guess I had too much info on popular criminal cases in Japan.
Ikr, I think her and her husband subplot is just a filler, I skipped their scenes. Her other sister is good, tho.…
Such an unnecessary filler! I think the writer should focus on Yifei and Qinli relationship instead. after watching 22nd or 23rd ep we were convinced that Yifei was a target of Qinli and his sister. He married her for his convenience, whereas on the other side, Yifei thought that she was a lucky girl married to a charming guy who loved her.
