I think netflix only invests money thus buys distribution rights for their so called original Kdrama. They splurge money on production budget. The hard work is still done by Korean studio/companies that produce drama. But the dramas should meet Netflix's standard. That is way Netflix's Kdramas often seem to have great quality.
