It's not a cheap horror you know, it's a classy movie...it still creeps me out! I guess only the trailer looks awful. The cinematography is pretty good, reminds me with The Howling Village. But, Suicide Forest Village has better screenplay execution. The plot looks believable, the BGM is not annoying, the actors are good too since they are not newcomers. I would say, I'll recommend this!

Did mydramalist miss something or my memory was bad? I think KSH was spotted on The Master's Sun drama back to 2013. And I saw him in several dramas in minor / trivial roles before 2017. CMIW. So when I see him rose to fame now, I think he deserves it cause he had a long way in KDramaland. For some actors, they can be a star in one night, but for others, they need to go through long nights to become a star.

if you happen to see chinese caption/subtitle on drama (TV or webstreamer), be it hardsub/softsub. that's probably 'simplified chinese', a written standard language by China government to make the language easier to understand. Probably easy to translate too. Simplified chinese also used in several countries. But still people with chinese mother tongue could write and spoke using extensive chinese characters. That's why wuxia/xinxia/xuanhuan novel or many chinese novels hard to translate without knowing the context. Because the writer have such liberty to write anything. Meanwhile, if they air the drama, they should provide subtitle or dub the language. So people people all over China can understand the show (in one standard).

I think we should thank the editor translator in every C-Drama channel. hehe. After they added the google translated Chinese->English. They will need sometime to edit the translation until it fit the context.

so far in Novoland series,, none get happiness in term of romance. They either goes single or end up with other stranger or die in vain. I don't know the ending of Novoland sky castle 2 though...(bcause I don't watch this drama)

btw MTL novel from google translation is helpful but sometimes misleading. I don't understand mandarin too. I prefer to ask someone to explain the whole story lol.

I think fake kiss is acceptable in romance drama. It doesn't necessarily affect the plot. Many romance dramas and movies out there didn't even involved with kissing or intimate scenes. What to cry about? I'd rather get irritated when hearing producer/director ask the actors to do kiss or intimate scenes off the script.

agree...it's a bit confusing, her character. Zhu Zhan and Lu Yun Qi recall her as being intelligent and carefree princess. After she changed to Jun Zhen Zhen, she became a noble lady like. Very composed like a real princess. Meanwhile, in the 1st episode she was like a cannon fodder.

Nice info...maybe I'll start to watch it again. I dropped this on ep 2 because I can't stand the stupidity of FL. She is supposed to be an intelligent girl, wise one, but why act recklessly trying to stab the current villain king in the public? The king then has a legit reason to jail her or even give her death penalty. She seems forget that she has sibling to protect. If she wanna takes revenge on him, shouldn't she seek an ally first?
