I was wondering exactly the same. He is a stage actor according to DramaWiki, so perhaps he's just now breaking into dramas. He was born on May 8, 1986 and is a graduate of Seoul Institute of the Arts (Broadcasting). Here's his page for SY Entertainment, but it's not in English. It appears that his earliest project is from 2009, so I'm assuming he's been active since then (at least with that agency).

Also single rapper ONE and actress Chu Ja-hyun (A Man Called God) have been offered unspecified roles. First script-read held on October 18. Sans Lee Seung-gi who is yet to be confirmed as the titular character.
