Lmao wooyeal was an egotistical villain who caused unnecessary pain to the girl. Compared to gyuri the hate is…
I guess you didn't watch the whole show, did you? Yes, he's selfish, but that doesn't make him a villain. The PDs clearly dragged out the unnecessary love triangle, and the editing was meant to mislead viewers into misunderstanding him.
I'm not even interested in defending people I barely know, but you don't need to compare the hate WY got to GR's. GR was heavily hated following allegations about her personal life, while WY got backlash after the truth game in ep 11 because the show left out important scenes. The following episodes make that pretty obvious.
I'm not saying GR deserved the hate either, especially when the rumors are still unproven. I'm just saying the two situations aren't comparable.
Now that the show is over, I can't imagine how awkward it must be for WY to watch the show. He got over 3,000 hate comments because of the editing. The PDs were so determined to drag out the love triangle, even though his heart had already been set on YG ever since the book date. Despite that, he still manage to carry the show through his and YG's sincerity and pure love. Knowing that he and YG were already dating when the show aired, I feel bad for him. They better raise his fee or give the PPL car for him lmao
I rmb I binge-read the novel last year and now I can't wait for the drama🤩 so they didn't include qiqi here, then I guess there will be a lot of screentime for tang lin🤩
