yo this episode was a bunch of bullshit i couldn't stop laughing, especially when fei foon was like "call me officer!" bae was so mad... it's kinda ironic that leuk to said he didn't wanna be seen with a thug but we later find out he has criminal family history and the police pulling up to his turf. and i really can't wrap my head around why they used those ai flashback scenes. it don't even look good. i mean, there was already a lot of yapping in this episode, why not give us some expository yapping? i had a sneaking suspicion that they were using ai ever since i saw the opening theme. and it might just be me, but in some scenes in the other episodes—like the one in episode three when they're riding in the car—i think they're using ai there too. just looked a bit strange.

now what in the world did i just watch. sui's friends, can you really call them friends? they're more like fuckboys who hang around him sometimes, especially the two curlyhead ones. anyway, jbl usually goes at a walking pace, (and sometimes it's annoying) but i feel this is going too fast for me, i guess it's called what it's called for a reason. and the way they looked in each other's eyes at the end... romantic.

can not have a male lead who doesn't having being too hot as a problem! it was predictable, having the mc defend him and the ml going all "😍" lol. it makes sense for the character (to crush on mayama spontaneously), since most people don't treat him like he's anything but a handsome face. but i just wanna see something different, especially since we've played these games *many* times before. and why did i think asamiya was gonna lick his finger for him? 😭

i get what you're saying, i do. i use the word "pussy" very lightly. i guess i feel more passionate about it since i was a complete people pleaser who didn't know how to say no for a good chunk of my life and i criticised myself a lot for that. about the synopsis, being kind-hearted and innocent doesn't mean you let people walk all over you. my best-friend is all of those things, and she doesn't play. hinata's character does struggle with this though, as we all clearly saw watching the drama. i did acknowledge that he cleared things up with the girl (though indeed very briefly) i wrote the first half of my comment before i finished the episode, so that's my bad.

hinata is such a pussy! like boo, you don't even have to hurt her feelings to tell her to the get the fuck away from you. oji shows up for some reason to be the voice inside sora's ear that keeps telling him to listen to all the bad things he says. someone really needs to beat the shit out of him at least once in this series. and then we cut to pussyboy number two in the library. "we seem to run into each other a lot" yeah boo, cause he's stalking you. he gives daon a pretty obvious analogy and daon laughs awkwardly because what else do you do in that situation, then they go back to doing whatever they were doing. it was cute, i'll give them that. hinata confronts (?) miyu, and tells her how he really feels (after beating around the bush a bit) and she clocks him. at least he was receptive to it. miyu really wasn't needed here, her presence didn't even cause much of a conflict, she just popped up and has the audacity to tell hinata "it's too late". boo where have you been?? at last, we get a lil cutesy scene with hinata and sora, oji is having other people do his bidding, and i'm left to wonder how the hell they'll pull off these two being in a real relationship. obviously sora liked him before, but to me hinata isn't really into it... episode 5's preview was pretty interesting so i'll see.

if i'm being completely honest their love shit bores tf out of me, I WANT DRAMA!! and I guess we've got quite the balance here already.

i feel bad for fier and alys. what was drake thinking? how else did she get pregnant? recklessness... alys is a real clown for still wanting to marry him. it's not even the fact that she's pregnant from a previous relationship. he slept with her and knocked her up when he didn't even like her as a person, he told alys fier was nothing compared to her. that's what makes it so bad and damning!

hmm... honestly if it were up to me, i'd end the series at episode ten. even though i hate ambiguous endings i think it would be a good place to stop.

someone needs to put asamiya down. the face he made when mayama stood up to him is pricless lol. asamiya strikes me as the type of person who hasn't heard "no" enough during his childhood, since he has pushed things with mayama quite a bit already. he's interesting to me in a sense that he's every other male lead, but a bit different in some ways.

another one of drake's side pieces is pregnant, golly gee. i kinda hope he is the father just so they have a reason to fall out again lol. i mean, they're cute together if you subtract all the toxicity, but i enjoy drama in romances more than the romances themselves.

i hate ambiguous endings with a passion. i bawled my eyes out when the credits rolled and all i could think was "why does it have to be like that?" like i was a feature on aqua's dr. jones. nothing beats old-school k-dramas i swear! the acting was phenomenal, i'd never heard of the ml's actor before but he was great! and park boyoung slays as always.

very cute! sora... i really can't tell what he's thinking not sure if that's intentional but i dig the rbf since i have one too lol. it's never a school-set jbl if they don't have some sort of prince, and he's almost always cold for some reason, but paired with a sunshine/just a regular guy. i dropped my summer of you on the first episode because i'm so sick of that trope, but here it's done in a more comedic way so i really don't mind it. the episodes are short as expected from a jbl, a lot of people complain about that when it comes to adaptations, but sometimes short and sweet isn't that bad (coming from someone who prefers longer episodes). overall, good first episode.

the plot is very convoluted imo. it's not a bad concept, but the execution is poor. the actors weren't bad though.

i usually only cry when it's the finale, i only watched episode one and i'm in shambles. just seeing that picture on dad's phone when he was on the bus was enough for me to burst into tears.

this was not worth the watch but love, love, love lol
