omggg... (on episode 2 rn) really i don't feel like tripp should be blaming drake for alys' behaviour, although he is technically the direct cause, she should know better! maybe her mom did pay off the proctors because there was barely any change in her character and mindset, if there was any change at all, that is (as of then when she's in nyc at least, because she seems pretty well-off in the present day). and you can tell drake believes in her, he clearly doesn't support her neglecting her studies. on to their relationship, i'm really curious what he did now! like they've broken up teen-six times by now, that's how bad their relationship's structure is. and he went and fucked up yet again... and met another girl, who he's getting married to? like wtf. i'm really curious as to what went down between them. drake is definitely still into her though.
edit: okay, i just watched episode three... and honestly it's so dumb, why they broke up that is... they've played these games before! alys really overreacted imo.

i wasn't saying you were arguing with me or anybody was arguing with me, just to be clear 🥲 i was talking about the previous replies before i jumped in.
i wasn't originally planning on watching this, i was a bit disinterested after reading the synopsis a while ago, but i'm at that stage where the picky side of me is slowly starting to dissolve (hopefully)... only on episode two but it's really interesting, i must say, i regret how short the episodes are though... ju taeseon is SICK! i genuinely never feel so... uncomfortable (?) when listening to a male lead talk...

i wasn't expecting this reply... oh my gosh you're something lol 😭 i just thought there was no point in umm... 'arguing' cause if i see a comment i don't agree with i just leave it alone🤷♀️
Episode 1:Zhen is scary skinny. He looks like he pulled himself out of a Manga. That long neck is amazing, but I…
what are we really doing here under this comment 😭 but i honestly can't say i didn't notice how skinny the actors are, it was honestly kind of jarring at first, most of the times if one of them is skinny the other isn't so it kinda balances out... but it's not really a big deal to me.
this might just be me but i swear chinese bl just gets more and more whack as the episodes go on, the same thing with to my shore but that was at least more enjoyable. i just think it was way better in the beginning, it was pretty unwatchable for me at the point i dropped it.
i am foaming at the mouth waiting for episode six. i'm usually not like this... i'm re-watching it episode by episode because i'm so starved. the last time i was like this was when revenged love was airing. no other series i'm watching can satisfy me right now 😭
i have a lot to say about this. first of all, it's bad. now that we've gotten that out of the way... i have no clue what's going on, even though this is the first installment. day's motivation is really lackluster to me. i get it. it's your brother and all but instead of going after gear, or all of them at once (in the beginning at least, no pun intended), he goes after itt and rapes him of all things... and then falls in love with him apparently? and itt falls in love too? that is nowhere in the film. day says "i like you" to itt, but that's it! we mostly just saw gear and night, and they actually had a semi-proper storyline (their romance doesn't really make sense either but it makes more sense overall) but i really didn't care about them, if i'm being honest i don't care for most side-couples either way but we saw no progression in day and itt's "relationship" whatsoever, even though they're the main couple. the movie should've been longer, or a series as a matter of fact. it's 2026 now, so we probably won't be getting a part 2, i don't think i'll be watching part 3 either, based on this and the reviews i've read about part 3.
i really liked this, but the two male leads are very dumb. yi do let himself be seduced multiple times... when mu gun said he could catch any runaway i was not buying it. my man had all the time in the world to complete this job properly, but was stalling. tae jeong is a whole 'nother case. i'm pretty sure they teach cops self-defense even if they're low ranking... when i read the synopsis i was expecting him to be pulling strings because of the way they worded it; "his plan takes a sharp turn when he discovers Tae Jeong is actually a detective" but that didn't really matter because he didn't do SHIT. okay, he did do some stuff, but it was barely anything. and it pissed me off so bad when he took like ten years to shoot mu gun in the last episode. and their romance made no sense either, it came outta nowhere. but i guess as ed sheeran said, "people fall in love in mysterious ways"... i guess it was the touch of a hand.
things really escalated though, all of this would've been avoided if xiao chen had left lu feng's toxic ass at the first signs, it's not the first time he's restrained him like this or gotten unreasonably mad. and yichen is wrong in his own ways as well, he been playing games, and yet again he lied about having someone new... but love wins all i guess
every episode is some new skunt before he tuck he tail between he legs and gwan, he wan stay and argue? done did give that woman heart palpitations, oh lord...
lu feng and all of his other chinese top colleges seem to have graduated from dumbass university—seriously—out of all other countries china has the dumbest male leads i'm afraid
