It's a mid drama. The acting is pretty good, some characters are meh, I guess that was the director's choice because I've seen the mains act before and it was better. I don't like cliché characters but that's what we have. I really liked the 2ML, I wished he had more screen time but that wouldn't make sense since he won't end up with her. The 2nd couple was pretty great. In the last eps I just watched this two. It's binge watchable but I would't watch it again.

This is tricky since I've seen the fan translation. No, it's not the same word. Husband is 남편 (nampyeon) and when she calls him "partner" is actually 형(hyung) which literally means "older brother" BUT if a female says that to a male that is not blood related it's just a term of endearment. I feel like english does not have that but it means a close relationship between the two. That's why they chose "partner". Although I have heard some people prefer hyung over oppa since calling your other half oppa has become cringy in korean millenials (broadly speaking).

I think ML thinks his brother is conning her and it's trying to safe her. But I agree it was so dramatic and awful to be dragged to the streets. I think it's part of the korean dramas style that there is always some dragging the FL, which I think should change because if my boyfriend did that, that's a form of aggr'ssion.

The biggest plot hole tbh. It makes no sense to put someone who doesn't know the business and even hates it. The brother clearly is happy that he's not involved and also has time for this art studio.

For sure. But he could just have Ji Han as the chairman. It makes more sense but I feel like the granfather wants Ji Han to he out of the pressure of being LJ group's face.
