i do hope they change it to a college setting or reduce the age gap by quite a lot... no idea how the novel goes but there's no way there's anything romantic that can happen between a 13 y/o and a 20 y/o. that big of an age gap is illegal anyway

i am not here to discuss what's cultural. i am well-aware how most countryside people raise their animals for food. i simply explained imo why some people might find that scene unsettling. tradition, culture, etc. doesn't always mean morally right which is why viewers may be sensitive to the topic. also it wasn't me who said i disliked the show bc of this scene.
