dear stranger of the internet, i literally could not care less about what's worthy of your respect and what you find stupid or not. people are allowed to express their opinion on a topic. if you don't agree, you can move right along. ain't no one keeping you here to debate if killing an animal is comparable to murder.

i am not here to discuss what's cultural. i am well-aware how most countryside people raise their animals for food. i simply explained imo why some people might find that scene unsettling. tradition, culture, etc. doesn't always mean morally right which is why viewers may be sensitive to the topic. also it wasn't me who said i disliked the show bc of this scene.

i apologize, eng is not my first language so perhaps i worded my point in a confusing manner. what i'm trying to say is by no means that sa is comparable to murder or animal slaughter. they are three very different things but they are all cruel scenarios that can be upsetting to some viewers. if you don't think killing an animal can be similar to murder, that's your opinion. others might think differently

what a pretty cast !! i do wonder tho how they're gonna make us believe the 7 years age gap between lusi and the ML, when irl they're basically the same age (2 years difference)... also is xiaowen playing the FL's brother aka the ML's friend? if so, while he's younger than lusi, he'll be playing a character 7 years older than hers...?

doesn’t really matter if it’s explicitly shown or not… you still know what happened; they killed the pig. it’s the same as how some people can’t handle watching dramas/scenes where a murder, SA or a cruel act happens. the action doesn’t have to be graphic to make someone uncomfortable.

episode 3 was very nice! this drama has me so intrigued

perhaps you're right, we won't be getting romance between vegas pete this season. and maybe i too would prefer it that way since i would hate for their storyline to be rushed. however, it still sucks how much they promoted the couple only to give us crumbs interactions in the last few episodes... they baited us lol
