The H!6 of last week with XK was considered some type of promotion for Spring of the Blade. Xu Kai was introduced in the beginning of the show that he'll be starring the drama called Spring of the Blade and he introduced his character. Then, at the end of the show, they wished him good luck with the drama. It's too bad, because this would mean that we won't see XU and ZY together in an ep of H!6 :(

Fortunately, XK has natural beauty 😊. To me, sometimes, he looks even better when there's less makeup or maybe even none. I shall see it when I watch the H!6 episode later tonight!

I've watched all of his dramas and I liked them all, and have rewatched them. The least I liked is the Eagle one and the court lady.

I thought MoonLight and some other dramas have been on dual online platforms, namely, iQiyi and Tencent. It seems to me that Tencent has been using iQiyi for many if it's dramas because iQiyi has a bigger coverage across China. I thought for example Pursuit of Jade is also dual online platforms iQiyi and Tencent. It's very odd that Youku goes with iQiyi but maybe it's a new partnership that they have now. I have not heard that. I think it does help a bit the drama because there are more platforms to stream, but I don't think it'd mean anything extraordinary good or bad. Also, MDL has been quite accurate to show the networks or platforms that a drama is being streamed on. It's on the very top page of the drama description.

It won't be on CCTV. It says on this page, iQiyi on both original network and where to watch. Royal Feast was on Mango TV, not CCTV nor any of its affiliates.

🤘💯 agreed. Both ML and FL carried the drama to be political correct. For me, it's definitely my favorite ML, Xu Kai.

I am very concerned about Xu Kai taking on this brand. I hope nothing bad happens to him because his black marketers can take him to the same road as they did to 'Zhang Zhe Han' where he was accused of being a traitor because ZZH showed a photo of himseof visiting a place in Japan. I hope Xu Kai did his research or that someone will tell him what is going on because he seems to be a very genuine innocent man and may not even know this risk. Albion-cosmetics is a Japanese Company in Shaghai. China and Japan are in a very hostile situation right now and if someone wants to ruin his career, they can accuse him of treason after he's taken this ambassador job. I wished someone can let him know asap about this risk!

@baifan, I think you're right, to get more popularity, he shouldn't reject that genre. I would argue if he were smarter, he shouldn't give up that genre either. Being popular, it'd open more brands ambassadors opportunities which where the money is. I don't think he's rich yet and many people in China would like to have financial stability. In some of his interviews, he'd jokingly said, he'd like to have some type of stocks, etc. But oh well, that's his decisions, hopefully, he'd get to do all the genres he'd like. He said that he'd want to do a complete complex villain... it may be a bad decision that could box him into a stereotyped...so he probably needs to get some advise from someone who really wishes him well. Good luck to him and I wish him much success. Regardless of what his genres he'd be in, I would still watch him🙂
