Now, some of the fans may have some predisposition against the age gap of the leads...I’m curious why you think they don’t have any chemistry? Both of you liked XK’s performances...so it seems to me that you might have something that you dislike from the FL?

If you have not done so...Please do the actual review MDL and on each of its episodes if you could 😀 so we can maybe lift our current unjustifiable rating of 8.1. I honestly think that ABAY deserves a 9 like you said, but if not, at least it should be 8.7!

Who is CK?

There are many different versions of Sword & Fairy...however, they are with different leads. XK and Esther Yu did not do well, well none of the recent S&F did well in 2024 so I doubt they will repeat the same leads in future endeavors

The actor to her left with his head inclined towards his right is Liu Xue Yi (I think that’s how his name is spelled) He was with XK in ALP the god of the animals per se.

I don't think your statement of XK's dramas are mostly FC is correct. In fact he had only 3 that is FC and that's BCE, SHAPH, and maybe CL. All other ones are centric on his role mainly. Even ABAY, it leans more on the dominance of the ML.

You're right, Viki has the right edition and it's a very good drama to watch...one of my favorites with XuKai and Bailu. I wished they will be collaborating again....

The ones on Viki is 45 minutes i thought...but it's been a while I saw it so I could be wrong...but it's good regardless

The TV version has some advanced clips in the beginning and that could be the reason it made them longer. Also, it has more repetitives scenes, elapsed editings, like it makes you wonder what happened. So the version on Viki which is the cd/dvd version which is the best to watch.

Yeah, I just saw a short clip on youtube dated 09/22 with Xu Kai shaved like an ordinary boy in any of those neighborhoods...some of those that can easily be a drug addict. Like Johnny Huang's type of shave...I can't say it looks good on him but it looks like he wants to go for something not idol type...wish him the best luck for his next drama and it looks like it's going to be 800 meters. The title did have the name Yu Tong on there...me no likey it...so opposite to Han Ting😁, hope he won't retreat the gains he made with ABAY on his career...if you look at a Cheng Yi, or those who's gotten very popular in China in the recent years, they kept more or less in line on the genre that made them popular to propell their careers...XK is not doing it...hope he's doing the right thing for his career!

I like XK in short hair but long on the front like when he was doing AMA. The hair style he has in Yu Tong is good...but I also agree that he looks good with any...I mean he looked very hot with his shaved head in Fuca Fu Hang character. About the only thing I think he should do would be to gain a few more pounds 4-5 more to add some meat to his face at least like when he was in ABAY 😄

Did XK shave his head for Yu Tong's character? I don't think he has unless towards the end the plot called for...I haven't seen it...or it could also be for the 800 meters drama? ... Got to check it out on youtube 🤔

That's true, XK is so good with his fighting skills but I thought the drama was kind of dark which i didn't like, I mean too many deamons😄
