This drama is a family genre. The leads have very good chemistry, i love them. The mom had quite a big screen time. The story is very good but if you're waiting for an usual love story then it might not be your cup of tea. This one keeps you in suspension about how the leads fall in love with each other, which to me was keeping it interesting. It was a very good watch for me.

@Rich, there are 2 types of dramas: short dramas literally they are classified as such whose durations are up to 24 episodes. The other standardized type is between 31 - 40 episodes. ABAY needs the narratives of its characters development and i thought they aren't long enough for me. I like large number of episodes, don't like movies so my preference is long dramas coz I like the narratives of the people involved. ABAY is an excellent drama with good stories but if you feel it's too long for your taste, there are many shorter choices for you, so go for it.

It's probably because of the leads good look. The Philippines love Miss Universe and all those competitons dealing with good looks...I used to like them (the Miss Universe competitions and its like) too so I kind of see their tastes. Xu Kai when he has more weight and get his cheeks a fuller look, it accentuates his angelical youthful face beauty that I have yet to see in other Chinese actors...it's too bad he's not told the right thing and he kept loosing weight and doing hard training which gives him a harder look on his face which I don't like. It makes him age so much faster.

Hahaha...so am i with Xu Kai. I just watch his dramas regardless who's he pairing with and I have enjoyed every single one of his dramas.

Wuxia is fighting with sword or other type of fighting tools....Xianxia is fantasy like fighting among gods which uses cgi

Yeah, in Court Lady, he fell off the horse coz his attires/war costumes were way too heavy...as an actor ages, it's becoming harder...if you look at Cheng Yi, Xiao Zhan, Wang Yi Bo, those that have higher support directors, they don't do Wuxia...their costumes dramas are xianxia...if you hear what Chen Xiao, he's acted in Wuxia before, that's what he said...that he didn't want to do Wuxia anymore because it's very tough...I just want my handsome baby XK 'per say' gets most of everything 😄 (success, fame and happiness in an easier and safe way)

Xu Kai did very well this year before ABAY and that is Best Choice Ever with Yanzi. In China, it is being rebroadcasted now on its 10th time from CCTV8 through CCTV1 because of his exceptional CEO presence and looks

Yeah, Xu Kai does his own stunts which are exceptional but chances for him to get injured would be a lot higher. Therefore, I would prefer him do either modern or xianxia dramas because xianxia uses fantasy fighting 🙂

Yeah, even in these last couple of days, HT is ranked on the 5th of most popular drama character even though ABAY finished broadcasting almost a couple of days ago.

Hello Saturday, the first one with Seven and Xu Kai which was broadcasted in February of this year was so goood. After watching them in ABAY, it is so much better to rewatch this variety show. I don't see why you didn't like after episodes 28 and so forth. They talked about character development as far as business and personal go with the leads. In ep 28 - 29, it showed how JX learns to deal with her employees, in ep 29-30, it talked about how HT deals with his acquisition strategies and such, and the consequences of such that will show how JX had evolved afterwards...how family interactions between JX and HT's went and got developed to the end...ep 31, conflicts between the leads, and the rest...Therefore, it's a well made drama. Some people complained about secondary characters. All dramas must have stories with secondary leads/actors, otherwise, how new talents of actors/actresses can be found if not given the opportunities for them to develop. If you ran out of patience, then, you didn't understand the intent of the flow of this drama, it's too bad...
