I think VIP is like its abbreviation says, 'very important people'. This definitely doesn't take away anything from what Xu Kai has accomplished. 'A very important people' can be assigned to many as you've seen...just a nice way to label someone special...but the brand spokesman label/role of Tencent is a lot more important, most honor. A brand spokesman can only be given to a very few actors, or maybe even to one and only one (don't know for sure). Also, Xu Kai has won two other prizes, namely, the most charming; and the other one, the most popular actor overseas. Someone mentioned that there are some other actors that were perceived more popular than Xu Kai such as whomever. Well, this prize is for Tencent/WeTV actors. Xu Kai's dramas have been always ranked in the top 10 (many times as top 1) for the past 2-3 years on WeTV/Tencent platform globally, hence this merits Xu Kai to be named the most popular actor overseas for Tencent. Besides, during the transmission of the prizes, the honor was probably because of the ratings for ALP and SAHPH. That's why, the producer of ALP was selected to give Xu Kai the prize. Therefore, I don't see why the confusion and some of the discussions that have turned hostile on in this topic. Cheers!

Yes, there are haters of Nicky Wu that mocked him saying he was fat, old. and ugly. There were articles (entertainment articles) talking about it. I've read those comments a few years ago. He was turning to 50 and as everybody in their 50s, gets heavier. I didn't however, find him ugly nor old. To me he still looked pretty good. I'm sure he lost some weight afterwards. But there are haters and some of those are indeed LSS's fans because NW is much older than LSS. But NW adores LSS, so I don't think NW would have any affair with anybody else, but loyal to LSS.

Her husband loves her too much to have her 24x7 tied at home taking care of their son. She is the queen in their household and Nicky Wu would give her the moon if he can do that for her.

That's why she hasn't had any dramas filmed in 2022; and she's currently filming one in 2023 (right now) as a 2FL. She's been only in Variety shows for all of 2022 and most of 2023 until maybe September timeline when she started filming a drama as a 2FL. I'm sure she'll improve in this new one that she's currently filming. She's very attractive/pretty.

My favorite one is the one on track 6 (I believe it's the one that there had been a few asking for, which is when everybody died). I like them all, well, track #3 is the least pretty of them all...but give it a try. It's good, so enjoy it :)

Will Xu Kai really have a drama to film? His schedule for December does not include starting filming a new drama. Does anybody have any news on whether Xu Kai have a new drama to film in the next month?

WOL is at 2nd place per Vlinkage last week. SOKP is at #1. New ratings come out this Sunday...Xu Kai character is at #4 or 5 or something behind the main Leads of SOKP and "Only For Love". Now, if it's all combined TV and Web dramas, then WOL sits a bit lower depending on the web site.

Beauty is a subjective matter. I think the FL is pretty, i.e. above average type of beauty; and a very good actress. She doesn't show her age, she's 35 years old and has tons of other dramas aligned up with actors even younger than Xu Kai. So, the FL is very well accepted and liked by the Chinese dramas directors. Like I said, she's a heck of an actress!

It is successful, but of course it depends on the viewing Analytics Site. So for instance per Vlinkage which is a widely used, WOL is at second place for all dramas streamed on the Web.

Yup, he's way too skinny and he seemed to had been traumatized since. He was not fat at all (with the exception of some scenes) on ALP and FIYS. He definitely looks better with more weight on himself, with some cheek fat per se as with that he would have a more youthful face. In SAHPH, he was said to be fat on his body, so since then, he's been working out and showing his muscles. He pays too much attention to the critics which many times were just to get him down more than anything,

This was an old article written in the timeline of 2021, July-ish with photos of 2019s. Because of that Xu Kai has over corrected himself and he has lost too much weight since. Actually, Xu Kai looks better with a bit fuller face than he is now. He should probably add a few like 5 pounds more...just like when he was while filming WOL, and it would be perfect. He seems to let his emotions reflect on the way he looks. Very normal, as when one is happier, one would look better. So the times he looked best are when he had a gf behind him...when filming with BL, and towards the end of last year.
