This was a bland and mediocre show to me. Boring main leads, especially the stiff male. The romance felt like…
between ep. 6-10 the main couple look like they hate each other. She is angry or expressionless and he is either belligerent or cold. The big haelmoni flashback was ok. Lots of interior scenes with low light; which added nothing. You can save time and skip through these episodes.
You have no idea what a massive trauma bullying can make. Her way of doing things is very understandable. at least…
I'm old now and don't have a lot of patience; also its a work of fiction how about we posit that she got at least 5 years of therapy pre and post op instead of having the progress on screen. On the other hand they're all college age people so some of this is expected. Still enjoying this way WAY WAY WAY more than What's Wrong With Sec. Kim.
ep.11 getting a little tired of the passive, whiny and flumoxxed Mi Rae. Get a grip. Even her nasal voice sound is starting to grate. Love her friend and roomie; what a firecracker.
I dropped the drama at ep. 6 and then came back to finish it up. The writing failed the otherwise talented cast. The writer(s) used the star power of the main leads as a crutch instead of writing character/dialog/story. Very disappointing; especially when I was looking for light and fun romcom. It turned into a chore with slight overtones of unequal power dynamics and creepiness. I am very much enjoying Thirty really 17 now.
I like this drama but I'm thankful it will be over next week. Honestly the 2 leads is starting to irritate me.…
I was really looking forward to a lovely rom/com with a fresh story start -- beautiful hyper competent kim piso was quitting to go do her own thing. Well the excitement lasted all of 4 episodes and then it started dragging. It happens when the writing tries to use the charismatic leads as a crutch. Dropped for now; I will visit the last episode.
In a word drop-able. I won't repeat what other reviewers have gone over such as the musical filler, inconsequential side characters and cliche chaebolisity, endless crying, emoting over the same thing etc. Excellent cast and production value. The premise of visible (to Mika) lifespan clocks was brilliant but the writing did not advance the story. You could go from ep. 8 to 16 without missing much. The final episode was a tossed salad of trying to pull it all together; enjoyable enough watching.
The amount of tragedy in this drama put me over the edge at ep.6 or so. I need lighter plots. I am not a serious melo fan either. If you watn to cry a lot go for it.
ep.1-2 i have watched 6 times over. ep1 was for me the 10/10 of any light romantic comedy. Their shenanigans at school; the friendship and camaraderie. The cameos were delightful.
Still even with its short comings it is still a rare rom-com that I could watch all over again.
Love Ha Ji Won in so many previous projects. Not In time with you remake ugh. The setting for this drama was stunning. ep.1 was gripping but after the first 10 ep. I kind of drifted away. The cast was awesome.
