It's not clear. One character is definitely in high school I think his last year so 17/18 and the other guy seems to be out of university so 22+

They are broken up. There was a smidgen of an open ending in my opinion, but it's likely they will not interact with each other in the future.

Yes, the comedy was odd when the beginning was intense, hopefully they stick with one tone instead of bouncing between comedy and being serious. Glad you find the platforms/links useful, glad you were able to watch with a VPN, at times I use a VPN as well :)

The former boxer has ALS or another terminal disease. He does a noble idiot trope and then several years later the other guy finds out the truth. They reunite and drive off to have some adventures before former boxer dies.
