Yes, the fanboy resisting his instincts has been fun. I'm confused, the CEO appeared to fire several players because they weren't handsome enough and they were only left with 7. I don't remember him indicating that he'd hire more people, but I definitely could have missed that part.

I re-watched ep 3 around 36 minutes and Athit asked if Tor remembered that they had sex and Tor grudgingly admitted he did (please let me know the timing of the discussion you mentioned). However I'd still label this as non con/dub con because at the time Athit heard Tor calling someone else's name/apparently not recognizing him. If a person is so drunk that they can't recognize a close friend then they are not able to give consent.

it has m/m romance in it, the ending is open so the viewer isn't 100% sure who is ending up with who romantically or if all 3 are in a poly relationship

Yes, I had similar issues with both of them. I didn't feel as much chemistry in the Japanese version hence why the lower score.

Human beings are not machines. We don't all do/think the exact same way because we have different life experiences. I give things an indie rating bump and you don't. Some people rate something all 1s while others rate all 10s. I'm sorry you don't like how I rate things but I'm not going to change my rating system.

I also might skew a bit higher overall than other people because BL is a newer genre for live action (really only took off in 2020) that I give them the benefit of the doubt.

Unfortunately, I think China will keep getting more and more strict instead of less...

I've noticed recently that what I believe are Chinese productions are saying Taiwan as the country, perhaps to help avoid censorship rules. Or maybe they are being co-produced. But this definitely felt like a very censored BL from China and not something from Taiwan.

Because that's where my mind goes lol. As I mentioned, I didn't take off points but if people stumbled across the title, they might assume the plot was extremely different from what it was.
