Overall: it was a strong start with an interesting/believable dynamic. Hoping they keep the momentum for the next 11 episodes. I think I read the first volume of the manga a long time ago and I've seen the prior 2017 movie but I'm basing this review on the 2024 series' own merits. 12 episodes about 25 minutes each.
