Overall: an intriguing premise but not a fan of the love rival aspect. I have not read the book this is based on and am reviewing the series on its own merits. 12 episodes about 45 minutes each. Room For Improvement
- the character exposition dump to start the series
- comedy sound effects that detracted from the comedy
- bad that the parents brushed it off as no big deal when it had obviously been bothering Ai in ep 1
- continuing to prank Ai after what happened and Ai not telling Yu why he was really afraid of the dark for years
- cringey guitar playing
- love rival aspect went on too long
- too much blur filter
