ZLH perfected this role. The desperation in his face and voice when he was saying all the reasons for JXN to stay, even his druggie and evil look. You can feel his emotions. I’m so happy that this show is still very consistent. No filler episode and every time I watch it, there’s always something unexpected. I love that the villains are smart and they can also fight well. I love that the characters here aren’t perfect and don’t tend to predict everything that will happen. I even love the side characters. Each of them has a purpose and they characterized it well.
I hope this will continue till the end. XW and JXN arc is just about to start and I still cannot wait for the next episodes to come out.
Jiang sisters- they aren’t close but they always have each other's back.
Jiang's daddy- His love for his family is admirable. He treats his daughters fairly and always fights for their happiness. That’s why I don’t understand how he could send his other family to the countryside. It’s very unlikely that that is his decision.
JXN- Very consistent with her motivations. We may not agree with her decisions and the consequence may not agree with her, but I do understand where she’s coming from. I feel for her because, in this life, she tried to fight with destiny. But fate always has a way to get to her. No matter how much she endeavored to change it, occurrences would happen sooner than she expected. (We have a very witty writer)
