This is not a Perfect Crown , it is Perfect bullshit. He want the throne , but refuse? He what to give others…
They clearly said refusing it three times is a custom

Is there really no plot twist? Nothing at all? I mean everything that is happening is way too obvious. No I am…
Do rom-coms even need any plot twists at all?

Most Kdramas have pretty weak soundtracks, especially in romantic or sad scenes. The opening song is good but the music playing when Huiju was crying was really bad😭A lot of OSTs don’t capture the essence of the characters. They end up sounding too generic or foreign instead of fitting the emotion of the scene.

Does anyone have a link to this drama’s original script? I couldn’t find anything on RedNote. I really want to see how much of a red flag he actually is, since people keep yapping about it. I didn’t find Xie Wei to be a red flag😛 so I’m curious how I’ll feel about Murong Qing Yi

Forget everything else but Cdrama wannabe? Cdramas are getting popular now because they’re pretending to be…
Even older Kdramas weren’t great. They were trying to imitate Japanese culture at the time.

But after around 2016, they improved a lot.
This drama just doesn’t have that mature storytelling feel. It comes across more like a light, silly drama I’ve seen before in kdramaland only. It doesn’t really feel like a typical Cdrama at all

And with how many weaker Kdramas have been released in the past two years, this one shines among them

Forget everything else but Cdrama wannabe? Cdramas are getting popular now because they’re pretending to be Kdramas now. I’ve watched Cdramas before 2021 and those were shit

I love IU and BWS so much but it’s so sad that this series is not for me, I just don’t seem to enjoy it 😔…
It’s okay. No series is for everyone. If you actually like both of them, I hope their next projects are more to your taste

"All style and no substance" is such a lazy take, if you aren't prepared to actually digest a plot, go…

This drama feels like it didn’t have a solid script. They were just making it up on the spot. Too many things happen for no real purpose. It mostly just serves visuals.
At the end, Yan An’s character suddenly got a lot of importance but I wasn’t even interested in it. For most of the time, I thought he was just used as a background prop.

Before this, when did he give the spotlight to his own actors and which actors were they?
Oh I didn’t know he was under his agency. I was wondering why he kept working with this director only

I wouldn’t be surprised to see GJM give spotlights to his own actor because it’s not his first time doing…

I want a male character who is completely toxic, irrational, jealous, possessive, romantic, violent, yet also…
You might want to look into Pursuit of Jade’s second couple. It’s too much for many to handle, even if it’s a BE

Is Chen Duling playing a secondary character to Ju Jingyi? She’s very popular among the international Twitter…
I don’t know about china but twitter stans are kinda weird. They seem to like actresses THEY think have a more lesbian-coded look, like Korean actresses Han Sohee and Jeon Jongseo

Is the ratings tanked by haters? Comments seem good. Should I watch?
No amount of hate can tank a rating completely. Just a few days ago, a drama started with a 9.2 rating even though the male lead was getting bashed in real life. Rating speaks for the plot

I mean, they didn’t end up together, so it’s not like the makers were pushing any wrong message
It was quite tragic tho. Both of their characters were miserable but I think it was the actors natural chemistry that did all the work and the director is pretty talented too

how did they know the concept of french kiss in the ancient China? p.s. - just a humorous question
I don’t think it’s called a French kiss because the French invented kissing. I’m sure people in ancient China did it too but in asian society it’s considered a private thing. My hot take is that it’s called a French kiss just because they’re white

The main couple is the only one who still got screen time and had their story resolved. The side stories and political…
And their Lian arc lasted 17 episodes. Almost half the drama. There’s no way they had less screen time. The only one with less screen time for his character was Linghe and the only scenes he got were with the female lead
