She looked a mixture of hurt and stoic and turned around to leave, didn't you see that? At this point she's not…
You know I really wanted what you said to happen. But all I saw was her being indifferent about him marrying another woman. The only thing she seemed to care about was that it was the woman his brother wanted to marry.
Susu really doesn't give a f about himðŸ˜or maybe she's just confident that he would never actually marry another woman, because she had no reaction when he showed up with someone else at what was supposed to be his wedding.

I don't think the "red flag male lead" trend works like that, at least not for me. Usually, the male lead might be involved in shady business or force his way into the female lead's life but he always chooses her above everything else. He stands by her, takes revenge on her behalf and only has eyes for her. That's what people mean when they say "He's a red flag, but I'm colorblind."
If the male lead kept abandoning the female lead, I doubt people would like him. Just look at Zhang Linghe's Our Generation. I saw a lot of criticism toward his character. Even I didn’t like it. But TFF aired just before it and people were largely okay with the female lead ghosting the male lead.
And yeah, Susu saving him so many times and shielding him with her body twice is the only thing that's still making me root for their happy ending.
i found it so ironic how the child murong qingyi told the child ren susu i didn't beg you to save me after she…
Let's be honest, if it were the male lead who had betrayed or abandoned the female lead so many times despite her loving and helping him on her own account, almost everyone(including me)would be calling him a red flag or even a cheater( if he'd pretended to marry her sister or made her believe he'd gotten another one of her sisters pregnant, like Susu did with his brothers) But only about half the audience is calling her a red flag.
That's a reaction to her actions lol. Are you forgetting that she was the one who pointed a gun at him first? That was even more sudden because he thought they were in a normal relationship. He said he hated her, sure but how many cruel things has she said to him? Or do her words and actions not matter to you? Is he the only one who's expected to be held to a higher standard
They have small part in meng ziyi and dylan's new drama. That's my only hope for now. You may want to check it out when it airs. It's also not a green flag romance
