I think this series makes me wonder if I really knew what I was in for when I started watching this drama. I didn't read the novel, so I don't know if it had more action etc. on Bai Feng Xi's part, but I think she was the main character?...or was she...I didn't read. I was hoping for more kick-arse on her part, and just more roaming Jianghu etc. But then again I know that politics is a big part of the story. (Maybe I just want more screen time of her character...)
But in the end I'm kind of curious if the other wuxia/xianxia series to be aired this year(remind me if there's xuanhuan ones) have more action/less court drama/politics.

That's what I was wondering, because it seems to be very different. I felt like the start was pretty promising. We also know that series don't film in order, so it may be that it affected the amount of action scenes etc.
