Not gonna lie I'm enjoying the messiness of this episode even though the drug plot isn't central. I'm a sucker for jealousy, what can I say? Some of the lines Krit said seem like Ming may have possessed him... and also the hands on the throat?! I love when they do that, it's one of my favourite things.
You might like My Stand-In, male lead is very possessive, there's lots of angst and jealousy and the plot is very…
No it's not like that at all (I'm glad since I don't like those types of characters either). Without giving too many spoilers, I would say that at the start the ml is cold and possessive/controlling but he's never a bully. At first the mc Joe is kind of happy and naive, and then the plot happens and he becomes a more stronger/resilient type of character who fights through everything. Tbh Joe is probably the furthest character from being a doormat while still being kind that I can think of.

People usually post bad reviews for this particular genre because they can't handle the level of toxicity. Maybe try watching it first and form your own opinion since that's really the only way to know if you like a series or not.
Can anyone suggest super hot and jealous/possessive male dramas but with yk well developed romance and tension.…

JackDean had me crying and yelling at the screen so much throughout this season and especially the last episode. My heart is genuinely taken by Dean, I don't think he deserved half the shit he got given. Jack pissed me off somewhat with his freaking mood swings, like what why do you not want Dean one time and then want him back the next time you see him? Also, it annoyed me that in ep 11 Dean literally had a breakdown while recording that video, saying he couldn't bear to only be a friend to Jack because he was his one and only, and then Jack plays with his heart by acting as if he wants to get back together by fucking him and then saying yeah sorry but we can only be friends... Like what? What gives him the right to play with Dean's feelings like they don't mean anything, and then suddenly a year later he expects him to come running when he says. Overall I am glad they ended back up together (if only for my sanity) but still. Jack needs a slap.
ALSO khao's song let's try playing at the end π― π―π― !!! I gasped so loud when the first notes started playing but then it turned out to be a diff version i was disappointed but still
the vibe of escaping your own lives to go to somewhere secluded is what really entices me. i dont know why but it just engages my brain, like in love sea when tongrak goes down south and meets mahasamut on the resort, or in never let me go when neungdiao and palm hide out in his mothers motel.
the sense of being away from everyday city life and falling in love slowly without noise or expectations, but also the quiet looming of angst and struggle. a calm paradise which exists in a bubble that is at threat of being popped. this is my favourite kind of plot.
- earth/chiefs long looks at mix/tian.... oh how i love them. that man was GONE :3 - the bgm. reminds me a little of paradise of thorns, with the peaceful and calming cultural music. so very pretty (specifically the song at ep4, 52.50)
πππ Perfect response, took the words right out of my mouth. I really don't understand the hate on romcom genre. It's still an opportunity for tlefirstone to have a main role and show their acting capabilities. I love serious and angsty dramas but sometimes we gotta have a bit of cute fluff. There's nothing wrong with that !
(response to the other comment cause I think this is still valid even if they blocked me lmao)
Well then maybe people need to start reading the description on shows before they watch them. If people on MDL can't even be bothered to read literally one sentence to see what the show is about and then have the gall to complain about being disgusted by it then I'm not sorry because its their fault.
It pisses me off when any type of dark fiction that I enjoy from a psychological standpoint gets people complaining about the unconventional themes. They always have the same regurgitated shit to say too.
I'm not just talking about on MDL, back when this show first released there was a Reddit post where someone was calling the creator of this sick in the head and that everyone who enjoys this stuff needs to get therapy. You can't sit there and tell me that people like that are not the ones trying to act superior!
And no, you can't reduce the meaning of dark dramas into just wanting to disgust and disturb. Fiction is a place for artistic expression without the constraints of laws or morals. It allows exploration of things which would never under any circumstance be okay in real life. Not just to get a reaction and a shitty review from people who don't know their own limits.
I'm not acting like I'm oppressed, or that I'm above anyone else or any of this shit you seem to think about me. I'm annoyed that people are still complaining and saying the same old crap about dark dramas when the synopsis is as obvious as it can possibly be.
