I have to agree! I really enjoyed the whole show, it kept me on my toes for sure. I gave it a 8.5 and it was well deserved. Additionally I give the production team my praises, the horror scenes were well portrayed.

Am I the only one who didn't really enjoyed the romance between the king and Wei Ying Luo? They had zero chemistry (my opinion) and the whole relationship was filled with lies and schemes. And from one moment to another after she got her revenge and she suddenly remembers that she does like him?! Makes no sense. I prefered her with Fu Heng...

What a show! It's certainly not always easy to watch certain scenes but I loved the whole script. It is very deep and covers the abusiv topic in a more raw and unconventional way than most of other similar shows.

I didn't dislike the ending, but the death of the male lead didn't make any sense. He just dies offscreen without much content... I liked the character development of the husband but he committed to many crimes, so I was experting either his death or going to prison. The writers chose to give him an epic tragic ending, which I didn't hate.

Am I the only confused by the last episode?

I completely agree! I just finished the drama, and in the last 4–5 episodes I started to question why the female lead suddenly felt like a completely different person. It didn’t make sense for someone like her to start chasing a man just to make him realize he loved her.

His reaction to her confession also confused me. Throughout most of the show, he protected her and clearly showed his feelings — and then suddenly he’s unsure whether he even loves her? It felt inconsistent with his character.

Honestly, if it weren’t for the last episodes, I would have loved the show.
