Both dramas are all about revenge where the main female characters of both dramas are badass, hackers and vows revenge on the people who made their sister suffer. Taxi Driver does not have romance mainly focuses on crimes and mystery and Risky gives off makjangish elements but both are twisted and dark dramas.

Both dramas are makjang and about revenge. Both the female lead is an orphan and her older sister took care of her after the parent's death. Both the older sisters of the female lead is pregnant and being betrayed by their boyfriend. Both of older sisters dies with their child. Both the female lead wants to revenge on the person responsible of her older sister's suffering.

Both series are Female Centered Plot which focuses on competition in winning particular game or activities. Suugaku Joshi Gakuen is about girls who competes in Math and Girl Gun Lady is all about winning in the fight which is a survival game. If a competitor lose it would subtract their life span.
