status : upset and disatisfied.
I was prepared for this to be one of my fav fantasy dramas but unfortunately it didn't come through. I was very excited at the beginning because it seemed like it could be a complex plot with complex characters. However, most of the characters are for-lack-of-better-word one dimensional. Ok Eul-Tae, although the villain, was set out to be my fav character/antagonist but the last episode gave him the simplest backstory. Throughout the drama we can even feel sympathy for him but at the end it was all for nothing. There was a lot that was underdeveloped or just not explained.* The ending makes no sense if Bulgasals are unable to reincarnate. This drama didn't need an open ending, it deserved a proper conclusion.
* Siho's powers meant almost nothing. There was no explanation as to why she even has them & when she used it, it didn't give any big revelations.
* I don't understand why Eul-Tae would get hurt when he tried to harm Sang-Un when logically speaking if him and Hwal are Bulgasals, it should be them who are connected.
* No explanation was provided as to who Bulgasals really are and where they come from?? Ms. Lee had had mentioned they were originally protectors but who even appointed them as that + it didn't even look like they were really doing that.
* Hwal had no personality trait besides being a Bulgasal obsessed with revenge.
* I love family especially found family tropes but this was so messy lol
* I'm a bit confused on when Hwal stopped having feelings for Siho and started liking Sang-Un
But nevertheless this wasn't a terrible drama. I actually enjoyed watching it and reading the theories people came up with. I'll be honest if the viewers had written the drama, it could've been much better because some of the theories made the story much more complex than what it really was. There's quite a few things I would change lol but I did enjoy it. If you're able to overlook underdeveloped elements then you too will enjoy this drama and should give it a try !
(I'm still a bit conflicted on how I should rate this lol my critical side is fighting against the part of me that just wants to rate based off enjoyment.)
EDIT] Sang-Un was supposed to have been on her last life so she also should not have been able to reincarnate. Unless I missed something, neither Sang-Un nor Hwal should’ve reincarnated and crossed paths again. Honestly I think the writer threw that in last minute to appease viewers but I think the show would’ve been just fine without a romance plot line.

Can I review without rating pls
How do you even rate something like this lmao..If you go in expecting a legit drama you will be extremely disappointed. But if you're aware that this is just an extended ad then it's not too bad. It is absolutely goofy but I guess enjoyable. I did like that each episode was a different trope and was pretty satire. Overall, it's a quick watch (I watched it in about a little over an hour), and pretty funny.
I gotta say I liked seeing some of my fav actors in something so ridiculous.
I didn't like the ending at all and the last episode cuz it was like 5 mins and open ending. Made no sense at all but then again the whole thing didn't make much sense and was pretty goofy so I'm not sure why I expected a serious ending.
Anyways if you're looking for something quick and light to pass time, this is it !

I’m not good at writing reviews but I just want to say I loved this drama. It was a very simple in terms of storyline. There was nothing too dramatic that happened.I can’t speak on the portrayal of Asperger’s but I’m glad to see people with Asperger’s say that there was an accurate representation.
While I do agree with the reviews saying Geuru’s character wasn’t developed enough, I’m still giving this drama a high rating. I do wish we had gotten to know more about Geuru and even Namu. The “cop friend” was introduced just for us to barely see him. I don’t know if there’ll be a season 2 but if there is, I’m intrigued to see how Sanggu and the social worker’s story will progress.
Personally, I found the drama very sad and it made me cry almost every episode. Maybe I’m just soft lmao but I do think it was a tearjerker. I would say the rewatch potential is high because if you ever want to cry you might put it on. I don’t think it’s something you’d watch just to watch though.
The soundtrack wasn’t anything extremely special. But since I enjoy classical music from time to time I quite liked it.
Overall I enjoyed this. The actors did great. I hope Joonsang wins best new actor or something cuz he’s doing amazing!! I didn’t even realize Jehoon was in Time To Hunt. Either way the cast was great. It was nice to see some familiar faces. Hope y’all enjoy this the way I did :)) and if you’re an emotional person, don’t forget your tissues.

It’s not that serious lmao just enjoy it
This is a pretty simple generic enemies-to-lovers storyline bordering on “but they were roommates.” The drama wasn’t promoted as some revolutionary love story so I’m confused on the low ratings for it being cliché???Anyways, In my opinion it gave exactly what it said it would give. It may have been a little cliche and cheesy but that’s it’s charm. Maybe I’m biased because I like the actors and I’m a whore for a cheesy romance but I think it was a pretty cute drama.
I really liked the leads relationship and how patient they were with each other and that they gave each other space when needed. Most of the downs in their relationship weren’t necessarily because of what was happening between them. The lead couple barely fought and were actually pretty supportive of each other and got along well.
I appreciate that Whojoon wasn’t the typical cold male lead who doesn’t know how to show love and blah blah. He was rude asf in the first episode but after that you could tell it was really just a front and he’s a pretty nice dude.
JJ got on my damn nerves but I guess that’s what it’s like being a good actor?? I was ready to not watch anything with Chansung again😭 but by the end I did kinda feel bad for him. I understand where he’s coming from but I think the way he went about things made him very unlikable.
Fvck Inhyung. All my homies hate Inhyung. I’ll admit I felt bad for her at the start but after a while I was like 🤨 homegirl kind of manipulative. And her attempting suicide to guilt trip JJ like ?????
I don’t know if I agree with JJ and Inhyung ending up together. Tbh I think they’re better off separated but oh well.
This is getting too long lmao uh everyone acted their part well. & OMG CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE DIRECTORS AND HOW CUTE THEY WERE!! Their proposal was too adorable🥺!! Anyways the actors did what they had to do. All in all very cute and light drama. A few frustrating characters but it’s cool

short & sweet !
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Webdramas might become my preferred type of dramas lol. I’m all seriousness, I really enjoyed this.I actually found the story interesting. I always like when side stories mirror what the leads are going through and helps them out. The revenge scenes were chef’s kiss. I think they took revenge in the best ways that would hurt those they were dealing with. When Nana said “you’re not worth it” ouuuuu I know homeboy went home crying. Anyways yes the story was very nice. It’s also great that there were no loose ends. Everything got wrapped up well.
I’m not familiar with the cast but after their performance, I would definitely look more into them especially the two FLs.
The music was A++. I hadn’t realized one of my favourite OSTs was from this drama & the Sunmi track is a bop and a half. The way it perfectly fit every scene it was played in😍
Let’s not forget the videography. It was nicely filmed & omgg the shots whenever they were making drinks wowzers
If you can’t already tell, yes yes I loved this show and I’ll probably watch it again. I hope you enjoy it too !

better than the drama
I watched the dramas ages ago and recently rewatched and thought I would give this a try. I enjoyed it more than the drama, to be honest. The drama was very typical cold lead (too cold at times) but in the special you definitely saw more love between the couple. It's one of those things that extremely cringey but entertaining. I would definitely rewatch this for some laughs. I don't think it was made to be taken too seriously so just sit back and enjoy this quick watch ! I had so much to say after I finished it last night but my mind is now blank lolWas this review helpful to you?

overhyped? yes. worst drama. no.
I have so much to say but also nothing to say. It wasn’t as bad of a drama as everyone made it out to be. I actually enjoyed it. I’m not the biggest fan of these types of dramas (the I’m ugly because of acne or weight so I change myself but the real message is supposed to be the beauty within)🙄😪Some scenes were a bit goofy to me but overall it was an enjoyable watch. If you don’t mind cliché, predictable and exaggerated reactions, then you’ll enjoy this. It’s a very typical drama so if you’re looking for something different then look elsewhere. The “finding her true beauty” plot point got thrown out pretty quickly (imo). The drama really mostly revolves around relationships. Which is again why I’m not the biggest fan of these dramas. The main message of “you’re beautiful just the way you are” is never fully developed or well expressed.
I'll be honest, out of the Gayoung dramas I've seen, this was not my favorite role of hers. I personally prefer her in more "bad b!tch" roles. This was my first Eunwoo drama, I believe, and he did just fine. I don't really think there was a better way for him or anyone to play the role? This was also my first Inyeop drama and I fell in love with him. The suppoerting cast did what they had to do. Honestly some of them had more character than some main characters but oh well
But anyways if I were being actually critical I’d probably rate it 5 or 6 stars but my ratings are emotional so this is most definitely because of how I felt watching it lmao. Also rating it high because I cried😭 not because it was a sad drama (at least in my opinion it wasn’t) but because I had been in a similar situation as some characters and made the same decisions.
I had so much to say but already ranted in my friends’ dms lmao so now I have nothing😩😭
anyways a cute drama, good looking cast, nice soundtrack, and a decent plot. Enjoy ! #TeamSeojun
**I also enjoyed seeing Kim Minki in this because I love his Racket Boys character and this role was different. Love his range of acting so far and looking forward to seeing him in more dramas**
P.S. Is it crazy if I say Jukyung had more chemistry with Seojun than she did Suho...
P.P.S. sorry this is all over the place lmao can you tell I'm not an experienced review writer😩
