Are you talking about He Yu's goodbye message to Xiao Huayong? Actors sometimes refer to a parallel world when bidding farewell to their character. It just means that, although the drama has ended, they wish their character well and imagine them living the life they wanted.

It wasn't explained at the time, but it was a bit in the extra episode by the doctor. Xiao Huayong faked his death and was away for 4 years to be treated before returning to Xihe. Novel readers said it was 8 years but drama shortened it to 4 years.

Wow! I couldn't let your post pass without acknowledging and appreciating it. Totally agree about being respectful. I can relate to so much of what you said about Meng Ziyi and share your view of her. I have been a fan since I watched her drama a year ago then found out more about her. Meng Ziyi has a special charm which drew me in. I think she is kind, genuine, loyal, straightforward and uncomplicated, playful, and hardworking. I admire her strength and positive outlook on life. After years of being unjustly hated on, she never gave up and deserves the success she has worked hard for. Watching her makes me very happy because, like those who know her have said, Meng Jie brings a lot of joy.

Hope they release this soon, maybe within the next couple of months to stagger and mix it up a bit before her next costume drama (TSTR towards end of this year??).

I think problem is some people just see a few recent Meng Ziyi dramas and think that's all she is, whether it's similarity in themes or styling. What they don't know (or refuse to acknowledge in the case of haters) is that she has had a variety of dramas over the years.

She doesn't know what romantic love is but you'll see signs that she's developing feelings for him, and fallen for him. She eventually confesses in episode 28. It's worth the wait. Enjoy.

I had to rewind a few times because my vision was blurred from tears. My kids knew not to disturb me once the bedroom door was closed and it was my time!

Agree. Any sign of weakness would put her in danger. But you could feel her sadness, especially during the private moments when she was alone or with those closest to her.

I had 3hrs sleep after bingeing 32-36 plus extra episode. I knew I wouldn't be able to stop once I started episode 32. It was brilliant. I cried, and just when I thought I was ok for a while I cried again. She missed him so much. She made tea, I cried. The beautiful music (love the OST). Even the parrot talking set me off. It took me through an emotional journey and left me satisfied with a big smile. I really felt everything from Shen Xihe - well done Meng Ziyi, you shone!

The drama wasn't perfect but gave me more than enough to love it from start to finish. I love Shen Xihe even more now, one of my favourite Meng Ziyi characters. Well done to all the BoP cast and crew. It was worth waiting a year for. It has been my everyday for the past few weeks. I'm not ready to say goodbye. One I will rewatch.

Wonderful news. I think there's a special bond between Meng Ziyi and Hi6. It's like a home to her whenever she returns to record.

Yes, in Nine Yin True Sutra. They have a great friendship and chemistry. He Yu also had a brief appearance in Blossom but it wasn't with Meng Ziyi's character. Meng Ziyi knows a lot of the BoP cast and team so felt added pressure to do well for them. She was a main CP previously with Jeremy Xu. There are also a number of Blossom cast members in BoP. This is her 3rd drama with Ye Zu Xin (2nd Prince). Meng Ziyi and He Yu said they hoped BoP would achieve a good result because it's a drama that grew from love.

Ahh how he pretended to catch her arrow and placed it on his heart. And she helped dab the sweat on his face. I've loved watching Meng Ziyi and He Yu's friendship and chemistry in BTS clips and in their interviews. Their livestreams were so funny. The way they are at ease with each other and have the same sense of humour. I'm going to miss seeing them when BoP is finished.
