I loved that scene! The tension was insane. He was a bit crazy. She was cool and defiant. You know she's upset when she called him by his name. The pause and music change when she counters. She is usually composed but there was a change in emotions after she throws the bowl.
What I have seen and read so far indicates a HE. Unfortunately, there are some who think the clip where SXH ascends to the throne with baby means it's a BE and put off watching further. My advice is, if you are interested enough then stick with BoP and just enjoy. I am really looking forward to when they get together and SXH learns to love (the type of love she didn't know) XHY. I only know Ding Yuxi through Meng Ziyi. He comes across as kind and considerate.
As for Meng Ziyi, she is cute. I understand her girlish and childish side, but that's her and there is more to it. She is different to the characters she plays in dramas, but that also shows how good she is. She can laugh with co-stars on set then quickly switch to a serious role when it's time to film.
I first saw Meng Ziyi through her dramas last year and liked her so started to find out more. I then became a fan and binged watched Wonderland S1 to S5. At first, she was the type of person you describe. But then you get to know her good qualities and understand what she's had to go through for years. It saddened me because beneath the beautiful smile and innocence, she had endured a lot of hate that would break most people. But she used positivity to manage unpleasant stuff that happened. I felt she was unjustly hated on (which makes me more protective) so I'm glad she can now enjoy success, she deserves it.
Meng Ziyi is not perfect nor the best at things. But she is kind, sincere, genuine, and funny. As those who know her have said, being friends with Meng jie can put you at ease because she is uncomplicated and brings a lot of joy.

I didn't know who Meng Ziyi was until I watched The Princess's Gambit. I liked her in that so I watched Blossom afterwards. Absolutely loved Blossom, Meng Ziyi, and her character Dou Zhao.
We all have our likes and dislikes, many might be opposites, but some might also be similar. Luckily, there is a lot of choice for us out there. But whatever our views, more respect and tolerance makes the world a better place.

I am trying to find the words to express how much I love Blossom. The story, script, acting, cinematography, production were so good. It delivered the package. Can't believe I almost missed this drama. I binged it like crazy the past 4 days.
This CP was on another level. Loved how Dou Zhao/Shou Gu and Song Mo/Yantang were together, as equals. It never disappointed. The trust, love and support. The way they looked at each other, their gentle touches and embraces. We were treated to lovely moments even before they got together. And we were lucky we didn't have to wait too long for that to happen.
Loved that Dou Zhou and Song Mo had a good group of loyal people around them.
Amidst the seriousness, intensity and suffering, there was quite a bit of humour dotted throughout. It was unexpectedly funny.
The entire cast were brilliant. For me, one in particular... I loved Dou Zhao and how Meng Ziyi brought the character to life. Felt the range of emotions.
Blossom is going to stay with me, one I will revisit. It was so satisfying and filled the heart.

Some beautiful clothes, but there were too many costume and hairstyle changes for the FL which sometimes affected the continuity and flow between scenes. The most unneccessary was at the start of ep31. They even gave her a crossbody bag to go with the outfit! I just focussed on the leads embrace I was waiting sooo long for.
