On ep 50 and I’m starting to get a little frustrated with Yan Dan. I get she has hella emotional scars n shit but like girly, clearly you want to date the Emperor, just do it then 🤨
how much romance does roshi and soobin have? I heard it has bl as well is it true?
1. They have basically no romance, idk why it was even added to the story tbh 2. It’s implied but in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind of way. like those dudes gay tho
I JUST WANNA KNOW, IS THERE ALWAYS A FILTER WHEN AMAGI KUN'S LIPS ARE CLOSE UP IN THE FRAME? COS IT'S TOO BOKEH…
I can’t believe no one else has mentioned this, the characters constantly have filters popping on and off their faces. Sometimes the blur filters over their skin are so heavy they start to lose some of the normal definition in their faces, it’s totally bizarre
I'll try to explain the overall situation to you: - Your first sentence about " it was up to him whether or not…
omg wait what, you just blew my mind…I just assumed they had seen each other at some point during those eps but you’re right !😱what was the circumstances of them meeting with Yu Mo’s eyes covered, I’m having trouble remembering it 🤔
I'll try to explain the overall situation to you: - Your first sentence about " it was up to him whether or not…
omg I have another question!! In the mortal realm, how does Yu Mo not know that Tang Zhou is the emperor? Doesn’t he recognize him? I thought Yu Mo’s memory was completely intact from his time in the Heavenly Realm, but he was surprised to learn Tang Zhou is a deity undergoing the mortal trials in episode 30
"Amagi acts like a child"... Amagi IS a child...? He's a high school freshman, 15 maybe, of course he's going…
lmao I’m not sure it’s fair to be accusing peachymomo of suppressing their inner child? I don’t think they are criticizing Amagi for being childlike, but giving their opinion on the dynamic between the two leads. If you can relate to and feel connected with the character of Amagi that is totally valid and I’m glad you are enjoying him, but if peachymomo doesn’t love the show their feelings are also valid and it doesn’t mean there is something wrong with them because their opinion differs from yours
I'm still on ep 2 and can't seem to get motivated to keep watching. I find I'm easily distracted to other shows…
I also found Yan Dan pretty obnoxious at first, but she really grew on me! She definitely has a bit of an over-the-top personality, but she is also quite brave and resourceful

Wow, thank you for such a detailed reply!! 😊 That really helps clear up a lot of my confusion, Chinese dramas are so plot heavy that I frequently get lost haha. Ying Yuan seems to be rocking some serious emotional damage, I’m looking forward to getting to know his backstory!
I have another question if you have the time to answer! will the show explain more in depth about the difference between immortals, gods, humans and demons, the concept of the “immortal soul” etc? I don’t really understand it but I’m unsure if that’s because the show hasn’t completely explained it yet or if it’s because I am overall not very familiar with the genre of xianxia 🤔
I agree with all of this, it doesn’t even seem like Takara likes Amagi that much? Of course everyone is allowed…
I haven’t seen those, I’ll have to check them out!! Another one I can think of is Kieta Hatsukoi, I really enjoyed it! It is fluff-heavy but has some well placed serious moments that go a long way in developing the characters. It also has some fun friendships and genuinely funny moments, if you haven’t seen it yet I definitely recommend it!
I feel like I'm watching a different drama than the people in the comments lol. I'd say this show is nowhere near…
I agree with all of this, it doesn’t even seem like Takara likes Amagi that much? Of course everyone is allowed to enjoy the things they enjoy, and it’s not like I WANT to be a hater but I’m really struggling to see what everyone else is seeing in this show. The quality is low in multiple areas and perhaps it is easy to get accustomed to that when it comes to BL but I also don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect higher quality content as a viewer, even if it is of a genre that appeals only to a specific audience. Like sure it is supposed to be cute and fluffy but I personally don’t think that’s an excuse for poor writing
I’m on ep 16 and I’m confused, wasn’t this whole tragic situation semi-avoidable?? I understand that Ying Yuan needed to push Yan Dan away in order for her to be spared from the punishment of love, but it also seemed like it was up to him whether or not she went to jail for the poisoning incident? He was also working on getting a letter of immunity for her, so why would it matter at all in the end? Ying Yuan said he was also working on finding evidence to establish her innocence, which idk why he would do that if it was his plan to send her down to the Night Forgetting River (?) all along. Also why did he take her onto that bridge so she could jump off, he said they were going to go to the Heavenly Gallows which I thought was the place where everyone gets stabbed with icicles.
Idk the Emperor is hot so I’ll let it slide but I do not understand his logic. Also please tell me Yu Mo loses the bangs at some point
The synopsis says "Students at an arts high school strive to prove that they are the “real deal” amidst a…
Right?? Like why is the show even called that…Soobin tries to minic Yoo Sung for like 4 - 5 days at most, everything else he was forced to do by his mom so it doesn’t really count imo…every time they talked about the damn mimic octopus I was like tf is this even referring to
