this drama single-handedly changed my entire personality, it has so many zany and nonsensical moments. I’ve thought about this show like 5 times a week for literally years. 11/10 recommend for “huh???”
The first half of this show was great and had me on the edge of my seat, but oh my god the second half was boring and badly written. If I had to see another second of the leads canoodling I might’ve just offed myself, it was seriously excessive and annoying. ML and FL are both bad people and I had difficulty caring about whether or not their love failed. The FL is so unbelievably selfish and irritating, how is she supposed to teach Moo Young to “be a better person” when everything she does is out of her own self interest? In a drama I can forgive murder that was done for the right reasons, but being obnoxious? Unforgivable
It’s also disappointing that the show was not courageous enough to follow through on some of the darker plot elements that would have introduced some serious conflict into the story. If you are expecting a Park Chan Wook style revenge thriller this is not it, it is rather soft and conservative

Kaneda is lowkey losing his mind, always yelling and freaking with his eyes buggin out n shit. Perhaps the shrine was an indicator to the state of his mental health
