Do u recommend watching Roy so far,I've been waiting for more episodes to air b4 I start watching
The side characters are actually quite interesting but featured rarely. The family gets featured alot, even the family friends gets airtime... so imagine how family oriented it is.
I actually don't hate JK (though I understand why others do). I feel she is a very human character. She hurts…
Same thoughts. The relationship between JY and her was not meant to be since day 1, even if HH is not present. However, what triggered her to kiss JY at the concert is Jealousy. As correctly described by the director, they are at the crossroads so the choices they make here is crucial.

Maybe expectations too high going into ROY, kinda fell flat so far. In 5 episodes too much focus on the ML's family and it is just like a family soap opera, lots of squabbles, blaming etc... Just not too interesting for me. The romance part is okay, FL not much depth - more attention on the ML. Only looking forward to the development of the ML's dreams, trailer of episode 5 looks promising but ended up showing a bit only. Majority showing the family - the brother wanting to move out, who cares about that?
I really feel quite bad for JY. In the earlier episodes, he just finished his tour and was on sabbatical leave, thinking everything is fine with just an incident with JK at the back of his head and the longtime struggle with JK's family. He could relax and visit palaces etc. and the only performance he had to prep for is the one with his good friends. SA met him when he was in this frame of mind, he was smooth, confident, knew what he was doing and extremely attractive.
Since then he had to additionally handle falling out with his best friends, his mom being ill, unexpected debt of 20 grand (and with just 3 grand in his bank), preparing for a competition which he hated and 2 girls vying for his love. The last one may look like a blessing but from what we see so far it is extremely exhausting for him. With all these happening I actually feel sad for him. He is almost losing it and still handling the relationship with SA quite well with JK bothering them. SA as per the main title of ep. 7 is insecure-don't blame her, just hope she gives him some space to handle JK on his own. She has her problems but think of the problems he is facing. Now he even has to know and face the rumours involving SA... it is really never-ending for him. Hope he finds his happiness in this drama.
I haven't seen ROY's latest episode yet but when I noticed it was subbed so fast I got so frustrated... It's definitely…
Yeah someone else commented earlier that wished this to be on Netflix. Guess it did not gather as much attention as ROY and IOTNBO, many of us chanced upon it instead of hearing about it before it aired. I am lucky this week the Chinese subs got released rather earlier, last week I also had to wait for English subs on Dramacool.
Episode 5, thought that it is going to be an exciting one... but treated to the family soap opera yet again. I am aware that the drama needs to strike a balance to satisfy all types of viewers but how is only less than 20 mins focusing on the ML's career and romance a balance... brings me back to the days of watching days of our lives...
Caught Record of Youth new ep. (really quite bad) on Netflix while waiting for the subs on this, so happy that at least the Chinese subs are out. Just finished watching it and it is 2am but of course no regrets! An episode of wise dads, stupid handkerchief and I really feel for HH. Was waiting for the scene I mentioned earlier and glad it did happen though at the very end. Trailer for episode 8, at the end what is JY going to say? Gosh this drama looks tame but always gets me so excited...
The OST by Punch will keep on replaying in my mind for a while...
Argh ep 7 still only raw available and going through twitter and saw so many salivating scenes, especially the one with JY and JK (SA in the background)... looking forward to watching that scene with sub... :(
