this one is so good. it's raw and harsh and gray and dirty and I love it. I also love how it doesn't focus strictly on the love story but rather on the characters themselves. this series is truly like waking up from a bullshit-sugary-sweet dream. I seriously needed this. hoping it continues to be as enchanting as the first three episodes are.
first episode was such a mess πππ I actually don't lose hope just yet since I didn't like the first episode of first season either but goshhhh. this company needs better writers.
This is actually good ahaha, shame its weekly episodes, i should have waited! Also very confused if Jun was Thai…
I'm by no means expert in this series but from what I understood... Tai is Win's older brother - and Win and Jun are besties. Tai said sth about how Jun's father placed Jun under Tai's protection? So I guess their families are close... Maybe? Idk
This is so bad why can't I stop watching this π The writing is terrible, the acting is questionable at best and yet I'm weirdly entertained by this? It's not even 'guilty pleasure' type of series because I don't enjoy it, I just can't seem to drop it π I guess with everything around going wrong, I needed something silly that wouldn't require any deeper emotions or brain-power whatsoever and this series met the criteria.
Either way, it looks like now I'm stuck here till the end so I may as well learn to enjoy the ride.
Oh? It's good to know! I won't read it before the series because I feel like with my annoyance-towards-DMD I may be too biased and start comparing everything in the series to the novel, which will be unfair to the actors, whom I have nothing against. But after the series ends - or if the series disappoints me, I may give the novel a go! The story does sound very interesting! π
I just saw it. Can someone familiar with the manga please share a little rundown what to expect from this? I'm wondering if it's something I should look forward to.
Till this day there was not even one DMD series that I'd actually like - they were all on the scale from hell nah - nah and meh for me. But this one I'm actually interested in and Keng is here so I wish - really, really wish it turns out amazing π₯Ί Please be good, Khemjira... π
As long as theres no cheating with BaabinBua Im here for all the feels
Yeah, same. I hope it can focus more on communication and navigating through relationship. There's not enough series with established relationships that just keep learning about each other. I wish all the best for BxB. They are so precious I hope we can see more of their maturing in the sequel.
I'm super excited for second season but also kinda scared tbh ^^ It means more crying, more drama and heartbreak. Either way, it's nice we're not saying goodbye to these kids just yet.
I think both are good in two different ways. I first watched HSF and I loved it. The chemistry between SkyNani is insane. I think the main difference is that in HSF the biggest focus is on SaintShin and their drama. Their relationship is the centre of it all. Of course we learn about others too but it can be felt that these two are truly main characters. I also loved the idea of two schools being in a conflict and going around that. Plus, HSF have closed ending. Scholl 2013 have somewhat open-ending. Like, yeah peoples life change but there are plots I felt like deserve better resolution and more focus. Not to say that HSF is perfect but at least the ending felt very satisfying. What I will say is that Schools 2013 focus A LOT on the teachers and their relationships with the kids. They are going through their own hardships. And the teachers duo do feel like two central figures. It's totally worth to watch it though. It's complex, emotional. And something that I've noticed: slightly more realistic than HSF. I honestly enjoyed both series and don't regret watching either. The kids are precious, the teachers are precious and I really like how it all unfolded in both.
If you want more BROMANCE and I'd say... More dynamic action and plot, watch HSF first.
If you want more slice-of-life, slightly slower but in-depth story with focus on the teachers trying to fight for the kids - watch School 2013 first.
