What I like most about this drama is the cast. All the leads, supporting leads, and even the three elders, Jiang Shu, Fan Qi, and Fan Hui—got me hooked the entire time. If it weren't for them, I would have dropped this drama right from the beginning. It's a shame not many people will watch this drama and see their lovable characters.

We'll see how well Joseph Zeng and Riley Wang pull off this character swap 😄

Although ALHJ is too dark for me, Joseph really did such an amazing job showing Gu Yizhong’s growth from a naive kid who just wanted to be a hero to a legit, badass spy.

I agree, his eyes are very expressive, and every single character he plays in a drama feels completely different. Not a single trace of his past roles.
