the lack of romantic plot is just hinting to me that they arent gonna end up up together in the end

i theorize the ending is going to be her going to the future and therefor a sad ending but i am delusional and the ending that im gonna gaslight into believing is that she gets pregnant and is unable to go to the future and she saves the king from doing the purge and his reign is good and stable and they have one child together and idgaf about the butterfly effect

if i could make the ending i would make her not return to the future lol like i hope she gets pregnant and unable to leave but that is just me being delusional

they are banging right? i wasnt sure but the scene of him tying his robe back and her putting on her outer robe was supposed to insinuate that right im not sure bc in the beginning when he saved her he was like im quite obviously better than wanting your body but it is obviously not the case ugh i lost respect for them as villains when they did that tbh
